NCT ID: NCT05620537 Completed - Prognosis Clinical Trials

A Novel Nomogram to Predict the Postoperative Overall Survival in Gastrointestinal Cancer Patients

Start date: November 10, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This multicenter retrospectively observational cohort study was conducted on participants with histologically confirmed gastric and colorectal cancer who underwent radical surgery in 11 medical centers in China from August 1, 2015, to June 31, 2018. Baseline clinicopathologic data and nutritional status assessments including Nutrition Risk Screening 2002 (NRS 2002) score and Patient-generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA) rating were collected. Variables will be screened using the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression model and Cox regression analysis. Internal and external validations will be performed via the receiver operating curve (ROC), the area under the curve (AUC), the concordance index (C-index), calibration plots, decision curve analysis (DCA), and Five folds cross-validation by 200 times.

After the surgery, adjuvant therapy which includes camrelizumab and SOX regimen will begin.

NCT ID: NCT05600933 Enrolling by invitation - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

Prospective Procurement of Tumor Tissue to Identify Novel Therapeutic Targets and Study the Tumor Microenvironment

Start date: May 15, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Background: Many advances have been made in cancer treatments, but more research is needed. Comparing samples of cancerous tissue to samples of normal, noncancerous tissues may help find differences between them. These differences may help researchers find new ways to treat cancer. Objective: To collect tissues and blood samples from people with known or suspected cancer. The samples will be used to help identify new targets for cancer treatments. Eligibility: People aged 18 years and older with a known or suspected cancer that requires surgery or biopsy. Design: Participants will be screened. They will answer questions about their health. They can do this on the phone or in person. Researchers will collect information from participants medical records. Data may include information about any prior or current cancers. Data about other medical conditions may also be collected. Participants will have blood drawn. Some of the blood will be tested for HIV and hepatitis B and C. Some of the blood will be used for genetic research. Participants will have tissue samples collected during surgeries or biopsies. These are procedures the participants would have had as part of their standard care. No new procedures will be done just for this study. Researchers may also seek out samples from prior procedures the participant had done. Participants will remain in the study for 6 months. They may have blood drawn again. Researchers may also collect tissue samples from any procedures performed during that time.

NCT ID: NCT05587972 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Real World Treatment Experience of Patients With Breast, Lung, or GI Cancer or Multiple Myeloma Using Remote Symptom Monitoring

Start date: October 6, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The Carevive registry collects patient characteristics, patient symptoms, and treatment experience data from patients receiving cancer treatment for breast, lung, GI or multiple myeloma. For this study, a core set of variables is collected on each patient in the Carevive platform. Patients will complete a baseline survey in person using a secured device or remotely using their own electronic device in a location of their choice. Weekly electronic Patient Reported Outcome surveys are collected from the patients using the Carevive platform for a minimum of 12 weeks. Patients may continue weekly surveys as long as they are receiving treatment.

NCT ID: NCT05583292 Completed - Clinical trials for Gastrointestinal Tumours

Mortality Predictions With Scorring Indices in Gastrointestinal Tumours

Start date: February 11, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The ASA-PS, SORT and Sarcopenia scores of the patients who will undergo surgery for a gastrointestinal tumor will be recorded. Thus, the correlation between preoperative indices and mortality/morbidity will be evaluated.

NCT ID: NCT05575986 Recruiting - Trombocitopenia Clinical Trials

Advanced Gastrointestinal cancer (excluding Biliary Tract Cancer) patients with FGFR 1-3 alterations who have failed standard therapy will be enrolled in this study once they have signed the informed consent form (ICF) and been identified as eligible in screening. The patients will receive 13.5 mg of pemigatinib once a day (QD) orally following a 2-week administration/1-week interruption regimen. They will be dosed until disease progression or intolerable toxicity. During treatment, clinical tumor imaging evaluation will be performed according to RECIST v1.1 every 6 weeks (± 7 days) and then every 12 weeks (± 7 days) after week 48. Safety will be assessed according to NCI-CTCAE 5.0.
