NCT ID: NCT05686408 Completed - Depression Clinical Trials

Study to Evaluate TNX-601 ER Monotherapy Versus Placebo in Patients With Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)

UPLIFT
Start date: March 2, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 2, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group study to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of TNX-601 ER monotherapy versus placebo in patients with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).

NCT ID: NCT05685771 Recruiting - Healthy Clinical Trials

Sleep Modulation as Antidepressant Randomized Trial

SMART
Start date: February 20, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about the effects of phase-targeted auditory stimulation in depressed patients and healthy controls. The main questions it aims to answer are: - Is auditory down-phase stimulation efficient in improving depression symptoms as compared to sham stimulation? - Can mood and other outcomes be prospectively estimated by multi-parametric passive data? Participants will perform auditory stimulation using a wearable device at home and provide data on their phone usage and activity. Researchers will compare depressed patients and healthy participants to see if auditory down-phase stimulation effects them differently.

NCT ID: NCT05685758 Completed - Depression Clinical Trials

A Treatment for Depression Via a Gamified Mobile Phone Application Based on a New Cognitive Model

FTP
Start date: November 3, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The study is a randomized controlled treatment study comparing changes in depressive symptoms over 8 weeks between individuals with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) who have access to an FTP-based mobile phone application and a control group not engaging with the app. FTP, the process of Facilitating Thought Progression, trains the brain's cognitive thought process to expand, accelerate, and be more creative, to alleviate depressive symptoms.

NCT ID: NCT05682677 Recruiting - Depression Clinical Trials

Combined Neuromodulation and Cognitive Training for Post-mTBI Depression

Start date: September 19, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The primary goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate whether Personalized Augmented Cognitive Training (PACT) plus intermittent theta burst stimulation (iTBS) is effective for treating depression in Service Members, Veterans, and civilians who have sustained a mild TBI. Participants will receive PACT plus 20 sessions of iTBS or sham iTBS over 4 weeks. Assessments will occur at baseline, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, and 8 weeks. Researchers will compare the PACT+iTBS group to the PACT+sham iTBS group to see if PACT+iTBS is associated with more depression improvement.

NCT ID: NCT05682183 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Major Depressive Disorder

Multi-domain Psychoeducation Self-management Program for Adults With MDD in Singapore

Start date: January 3, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a single-centre, two-arm, unblinded pilot randomised controlled trial study on 60 participants (30 in each arm) from the community mental health service (CMHS) centre within a social service agency in Singapore based on inclusion criteria. The study will examine the effects of a 5-sessions of Multi-domain Psychoeducation Self-management Programme and treatment-as-usual) over 5 weeks or control (treatment-as-usual) group.

NCT ID: NCT05681767 Recruiting - Depression Clinical Trials

Motivational Multicomponent Lifestyle Interventions as a Supportive Treatment for Depression in Primary Health Care

DEPKuopio
Start date: November 21, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The investigators aim to examine whether a motivational multicomponent lifestyle intervention as a supportive treatment for depression has a beneficial effect on recovery from depression in a primary health care setting.

NCT ID: NCT05680727 Recruiting - Depression Clinical Trials

Individualized Functional Connectivity Targeting in aiTBS for Depression

AINT
Start date: July 15, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to estimate the importance of neuroimaging in accelerated intermittent theta burst stimulation (aiTBS) for depression. Participants will receive aiTBS treatment, but they will not know if their treatment spot was found with neuroimaging or head measurements.

NCT ID: NCT05680220 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Major Depressive Disorder

40 Hz Light Neurostimulation for Patients With Depression (FELIX)

Start date: October 5, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Recent research in mice models of Alzheimer's disease (AD) has demonstrated that one hour per day of exposure to 40 Hz flickering light therapy can halt the disease's progression, and improve cognition and memory. Moreover, recent data suggest that 40 Hz light stimulation may induce neuroplasticity and reduce neuroinflammation. In this study, the investigators aim to evaluate the antidepressant effects of 40 Hz light stimulation in Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). Patients will be exposed to 40 Hz invisible spectral flickering light (active setting) or continuous non-flickering white light (sham setting) in a home setting for 1 hour each day.

NCT ID: NCT05675800 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Major Depressive Disorder

Psilocybin for Major Depressive Disorder

Start date: January 1, 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this study is to assess the effectiveness of psilocybin for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder and potential therapeutic mechanisms. Enrolled participants will receive a single active dose of psilocybin, or a dose considered high enough to treat depression, administered orally with accompanying psychological support.

NCT ID: NCT05671419 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Major Depressive Disorder

Mindful Self-Compassion for Anxiety Disorders and Depression

Start date: January 16, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The study will compare 8-week Mindful Self-Compassion training, compared to a control group that does not receive the intervention, on anxiety and depression symptom severity in patients with diagnosed anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, and panic disorder) or major depressive disorder.
