NCT ID: NCT05174221 Active, not recruiting - Kidney Disease Clinical Trials

A Study of Mezagitamab in Adults With Primary Immunoglobulin A Nephropathy Receiving Stable Background Therapy

Start date: November 9, 2022
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study will have two parts. The main aims are to: - check the side effects from mezagitamab. - check for long-term side effects from mezagitamab. Before starting the study, participants will be asked to provide a 24-hour urine sample. A few weeks later, if enrolled they will begin receiving a subcutaneous injection (under the skin) of mezagitamab once a week for 8 weeks then once every 2 weeks for 16 weeks. When treatment has ended, there will be a 24-week follow-up period. Participants who receive benefit from the treatment may continue in the second part of the study where they will be monitored for up to 96 weeks and possibly retreated for another 24 weeks.

NCT ID: NCT05173987 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Endometrial Neoplasms

Study of Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) Versus Chemotherapy in Mismatch Repair Deficient (dMMR) Advanced or Recurrent Endometrial Carcinoma (MK-3475-C93/KEYNOTE-C93/GOG-3064/ENGOT-en15)

Start date: February 3, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of treatment with pembrolizumab (MK-3475) compared to a combination of carboplatin and paclitaxel in women with mismatch repair deficient (dMMR) advanced or recurrent endometrial carcinoma who have not previously been treated with prior systemic chemotherapy. The primary study hypotheses are that pembrolizumab is superior to the combination of carboplatin and paclitaxel with respect to Progression Free Survival (PFS) per Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors Version 1.1 (RECIST 1.1) as assessed by Blinded Independent Central Review (BICR) and Overall Survival (OS).

NCT ID: NCT05169567 Active, not recruiting - Neoplasm Metastasis Clinical Trials

Abemaciclib (LY2835219) Plus Fulvestrant Compared to Placebo Plus Fulvestrant in Previously Treated Breast Cancer

postMONARCH
Start date: March 11, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study will evaluate the effect of adding abemaciclib to fulvestrant for the treatment of hormone receptor-positive (HR+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-) breast cancer that progressed or recurred after previous treatment with a type of drug known as a CDK4/6 inhibitor and endocrine therapy. Participation could last up to 5 years, depending on how you and your tumor respond.

NCT ID: NCT05162586 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

The WILLOW Study With M5049 in SLE and CLE (SCLE and/or DLE) (WILLOW)

Start date: March 31, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this Proof of Concept (PoC) and Dose-finding (DF) basket study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of orally administered Enpatoran over 24 weeks in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CLE; subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus [SCLE] and/or discoid lupus erythematosus [DLE]) participants in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel, adaptive and dose-ranging setting. Study Duration: 33 weeks Visit Frequency: every 2 or 4 weeks Enpatoran is not available through an expanded access program.

NCT ID: NCT05151185 Active, not recruiting - Dementia Clinical Trials

Establishment of Core Competence and Training Model for Dementia Case Management

Start date: November 3, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to develop the core competence and training model for case management of dementia. This study is the second phase of the project. The first year is the establishment of the training program and the pilot-test stage. The second year is the project implementation and effectiveness evaluation stage, the intervention effectiveness evaluation of the training course for dementia case managers will be conducted.

NCT ID: NCT05145881 Active, not recruiting - Alzheimer Disease Clinical Trials

Effect of Probiotics in Alzheimer's Disease

Start date: April 2, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In this clinical trial, five strains of probiotics (Bifidobacterium breve Bv-889, B. longum subspecies infantis BLI-02, B. bifidum VDD088, B. animalis subsp. lactis CP-9, Lactobacillus plantarum PL-02) with anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory functions will been applied to slow down the development of the Alzheimer's disease through regulating the intestinal flora and immune system of patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease symptoms. The efficacy of probiotic treatment against Alzheimer's disease will be evaluated.

NCT ID: NCT05132855 Active, not recruiting - COVID-19 Clinical Trials

The Immune Response of Heterologous Boost Third Dose of mRNA and Protein COVID-19 Vaccine

Start date: November 30, 2021
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV-2) specific antibody and neutralizing antibody level induced by adenovirus vector vaccines were lower than mRNA vaccines. Vaccine efficacy of ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 was lower than BNT162b2 and mRNA 1273 in clinical trials. The emergence of highly transmissible and mutant variants of SARS-COV-2 has raised the concern of COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness. The complete vaccination rate is still low in Taiwan. Strict border control measures are imposed by Central Epidemic Command Center. However, the measure of quarantine for flight crew is considered one of the breach of COVID-19 infection control. Despite most of the flight crew has fully vaccinated, several episodes of breakthrough infection occurred among flight crew resulting in domestic infection recently. Low neutralizing antibody was found in a proportion of fully vaccinated flight crew and healthcare workers. A 3rd booster COVID-19 dose is considered for flight crew and healthcare workers. This study is to determine the safety, reactogenicity, and immunogenicity of heterologous 3rd booster of mRNA and protein COVID-19 vaccines.
