There are about 10560 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Taiwan. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of oral belzutifan (MK-6482) plus intravenous (IV) pembrolizumab (MK-3475) compared to placebo plus pembrolizumab, in the adjuvant treatment of Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma (ccRCC) post nephrectomy. The primary study hypothesis is that belzutifan plus pembrolizumab is superior to placebo plus pembrolizumab with respect to disease-free survival (DFS).
This product is a computer-aided detection software designed to assist clinicians in detecting lung nodules in chest computer tomography. This product receives from PACS, radiology information system or directly from computer tomography scanner. After receiving the image, the product performs image analysis and provides a mark of suspected lung nodules. Users can use existing medical image capture and transmission systems or reading software to view these annotations on the workstation. The main purpose of this trial is to verify that when clinicians perform chest CT pulmonary nodule detection, compared to only diagnosis based on chest CT images, whether the "Taihao" lung CT decision support system helps to improve the diagnostic efficiency of clinicians. The secondary purpose is to evaluate that when clinicians perform chest CT pulmonary nodule detection, compared to only diagnosis based on chest CT images, whether the "Taihao" lung CT decision support system helps to improve the sensitivity, specificity, and image interpretation time (Reading Time) of clinicians.
The primary hypothesis is that pembrolizumab/vibostolimab (MK-7684A) in combination with chemotherapy is superior to pembrolizumab in combination with chemotherapy with respect to overall survival (OS) in treatment-naïve metastatic participants with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
Used multi-year health examination member profile by multi-algorithms technology, to find comprehensive key hazard factors or important high-risk group components for metabolic syndrome and chronic kidney disease or more common chronic diseases.
This study is open to people with a type of cancer called dedifferentiated liposarcoma. People with advanced liposarcoma aged 18 or older who are not receiving any other cancer treatment can participate. The purpose of this study is to compare a medicine called brigimadlin (BI 907828) with doxorubicin in people with liposarcoma. Brigimadlin (BI 907828) is a so-called MDM2 inhibitor that is being developed to treat cancer. Doxorubicin is a medicine already used to treat cancer including liposarcoma. During the study, participants get either brigimadlin (BI 907828) or doxorubicin. Every 3 weeks, participants take brigimadlin (BI 907828) as tablets or doxorubicin as an infusion into a vein. Participants can switch to brigimadlin (BI 907828) treatment if they did not benefit from doxorubicin treatment. Participants can continue treatment in the study as long as they benefit from it and can tolerate it. Doctors regularly check the size of the tumour and check whether it has spread to other parts of the body. The doctors also regularly check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects.
This is an observational study, in which data from Taiwanese people with indolent non-Hodgkin lymphoma who will be receiving copanlisib is studied. Indolent non-Hodgkin lymphoma (iNHL) is a type of cancer that grows and spread slowly and begins in the lymphatic system, which is a part of body's immune system, and affects a type of white blood cells called lymphocytes of. In iNHL, white blood cells grow abnormally and can form growths (tumors) throughout the body. iNHL tends to come back after treatment (relapse) and may stop to respond to medical treatment (become refractory). While the disease is typically slow growing, it can become more aggressive over time. iNHL consists of multiple subtypes and it is already known to the researchers that Taiwanese people often have a different subtype of iNHL and poorer survival than people in most Western countries. Moreover, there is little information about how well the drug copanlisib works in Asian people with iNHL. The study drug copanlisib works by blocking PI3K proteins and preventing cancer cells from growing and surviving. Copanlisib is already available in US and in Taiwan and is approved for doctors to prescribe to patients. The National Authority for Health in Taiwan granted an accelerated approval of copanlisib due to the new mechanism of action of this drug and based on the results of a previous study, in which participants with iNHL received treatment with copanlisib. This previous study, however, included only a small number of Asian people and no Taiwanese people at all. The main purpose of this study is to learn more about treatment patterns of copanlisib from Taiwanese people who have decided with their doctor to start copanlisib for iNHL. To do this, researchers will collect the following data: - administered doses of copanlisib - dates of treatment administration - how long copanlisib treatment was given - the number of treatment periods also called cycles (one cycle is defined as 3 intravenous treatments in 3 of 4 weeks) - dates and reasons of copanlisib treatment interruption - dates and reasons of copanlisib treatment discontinuations. In addition, researchers will also look at how well copanlisib works in these people. There are no required visits to the study site. The participants will receive their treatments as agreed with their doctors. The data will be gathered from the medical charts of the participants with iNHL who will receive copanlisib or received at least one dose of copanlisib after 01-Nov-2019. The data collection will cover the time between the date with the first diagnosis of iNHL and 01-May-2024 or earlier if the data collection of maximal 50 participants is completed before 01-May-2024.
LIFE-BTK PK is a prospective, single-arm, open-label, non-blinded, non-randomized sub-study of LIFE-BTK Randomized Controlled Trial (NCT04227899), that will enroll approximately 7 subjects in the United States (US) and outside the US with a maximum of 5 sites in the US. Of the 7 subjects planned to be enrolled, 4 subjects will be treated with Esprit BTK in below the knee artery(ies) in whom drug-coated balloons (DCB) were not used; 3 subjects will be treated with Esprit BTK in below the knee artery(ies) in whom DCB were used for treatment of inflow disease.
The aim of the study is to compare progression-free survival (PFS) in previously treated participants with Kirsten rat sarcoma (KRAS) p.G12C mutated colorectal cancer (CRC) receiving sotorasib 240 mg once daily (QD) and panitumumab vs investigator's choice (trifluridine and tipiracil, or regorafenib), and sotorasib 960 mg QD and panitumumab vs investigator's choice (trifluridine and tipiracil, or regorafenib).
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of guselkumab in participants with Crohn's disease.
This is a phase 2, multicenter, single-arm study with a safety lead-in to investigate the efficacy, safety and pharmacokinetics of encorafenib 450 mg once daily (QD) in combination with binimetinib 45 mg twice daily (BID) (Combo450) in adult Chinese participants with metastatic unresectable stage IV BRAF V600E mutant NSCLC, who are BRAF- and MEK-inhibitor treatment-naïve and are either previously untreated or have had one line of prior therapy in metastatic setting.
