There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The study is conducted based on a randomized controlled experimental design to determine the effect of an audio book and local vibration on intramuscular injection in pediatric emergency unit patients aged 4-6 years on pain and fear.
Recently, it has been seen that investigations from saliva samples could be an alternative to those from blood samples. Saliva collection is a simple, non-invasive, cost-effective, and relatively easy method, making it potentially suitable as a new diagnostic tool in pediatric patients. In the current literature, elevated levels of saliva CRP, TNF-α, IL-6, and IFN-γ have been reported in inflammatory conditions. However, while there are animal studies suggesting the use of saliva PCT levels for focal diseases such as gingival inflammation and periodontitis and as a potential tool for non-invasive detection of sepsis, there is no human study regarding its use in systemic infections. The aim of this study is to evaluate the correlation between serum PCT levels and saliva PCT levels in children suspected of SBE and to determine the diagnostic value of saliva PCT.
The aim of the study is to determine the effect of therapeutic touch on functional constipation in infants and young children.
Breast cancer remains the most frequent type of cancer globally. Nevertheless, the increased rate of disease-free survival of breast cancer brought the specific need of managing of short and long-term side effects of multimodal treatment. Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is one of the most debilitating conditions which is characterized by a wide variety of experienceable symptoms by patients that need to be addressed in detail. Therefore, in this cross-sectional study, it was aimed to assess the potential symptoms associated with CIPN of patients with breast cancer who underwent systemic chemotherapy. In addition, it was aimed to assess the potential associations between experienced symptoms of CIPN and sociodemographic (age, body mass index etc.) and clinical features (mean exposed dose, type of surgery (if any) etc.).
Chronic neck pain is a musculoskeletal disorder that affects people frequently in life. Nov. Postural control is based on the process of correctly identifying and selectively focusing the incoming afferent input of the Central Nervous System (CNS). The main treatment options for people with neck pain include soft tissue and joint mobilizations, stabilization exercises for the neck, trunk and shoulder muscles, cervical Deckings, relaxation training, strengthening exercises and body awareness and posture training Nov. In this study, it was aimed to investigate the effects of myofascial relaxation on balance, pain, joint range of motion and functionality in individuals with chronic neck pain by dividing them into two groups in the form of core stabilization and core stabilization and myofascial relaxation. The study included 45 people between the ages of 18 and 65 Dec. In two groups, the core stabilization group will be 22 people, and the core stabilization and myofascial relaxation group will be 23 people. The study period is planned as 6 weeks and 3 sessions per week.
The study aims to compare the effects of orofacial therapy and therapeutic yoga on swallowing, sleep habits, and quality of life in children with Down syndrome.
The aim of the study was to investigate the effects of laughter yoga on nurses' perceived stress, sleep quality, and burnout levels.
Joint hypermobility is the condition that the joints have a greater range of motion than normal and can be observed frequently in children. In children with joint hypermobility, motor problems, tactile and proprioceptive sensory disorders can be observed. It is very important to support children with joint hypermobility with intervention programs that are rich in both motor and sensory aspects. The aim of this project is to create an exercise protocol rich in tactile, proprioceptive senses for children with joint hypermobility and to examine the effects of using textured insoles in addition to exercise on tactile sense, balance, foot load distribution and quality of life in children.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of balcinrenone/dapagliflozin compared with dapagliflozin alone on patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and albuminuria. This study will evaluate the effect of the balcinrenone/dapagliflozin on urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio (UACR), compared with dapagliflozin in patients with CKD. This is a dose-finding study aiming to identify an optimal dose of balcinrenone/dapagliflozin for a future Phase III study in patients with CKD.
This prospective study is planned as a randomized controlled study with the purpose of determining the effect of Mother's Touch and Nurse's Therapeutic Touch on pain levels and crying times by newborns during heel blood collection.
