There are about 9745 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Israel. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This is a study evaluating the safety and efficacy of bomedemstat (MK-3543) compared with the best available therapy (BAT) in participants with essential thrombocythemia (ET) who have an inadequate response to or are intolerant of hydroxyurea. The primary study hypothesis is that bomedemstat is superior to the best available therapy with respect to durable clinicohematologic response (DCHR).
The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of ALXN1850 versus placebo on radiographic outcomes in pediatric participants with HPP who have not previously been treated with asfotase alfa.
The primary objective of this study is to assess the efficacy of ALXN1850 versus placebo on functional outcomes in adolescent and adult participants with HPP who have not previously been treated with asfotase alfa.
The goal of this clinical trial is to test whether vaccination with the BCG vaccine may improve the blood level of a biomarker of Alzheimer's disease (AD) in participants who are cognitively- and functionally- intact elderly (70-80 years old) participants, who display pathologically high levels of the blood biomarker. The main questions it aims to answer are: - Does BCG vaccination lower the plasma level of phosphorylated Tau protein (p-tau181). - Do vaccinated participants remains stable cognitively. Participants will be asked to: - Undergo cognitive and behavioral evaluation. - Receive 3 BCG vaccinations over the course of 1 year. - Perform blood tests on several occasions. All participants will be treated and followed.
Executive functions, anxiety and their relation to social participation and quality of life among children with Migraine during COVID-19 Backgrounds: Among children, especially adolescents, migraine stands out as one of the most prevalent headache disorders. It is susceptible to stress and has the potential to affect children's emotional and cognitive status and therefore, affect their function, and notably amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Study Objective: To compare executive functions (EF), anxiety, social participation and quality of life (QoL) between children with migraine and healthy controls, and to examine the differences of these factors between children who were infected by COVID-19 and those who were not. Study Population: The research will include 75 children between the ages of 6 and 18 years, diagnosed with Migraine, who are under follow-up at the Pediatric Neurology Clinic in Bnei Zion. A control group of 75 children without chronic diseases, assessed during routine visits at the Pediatric Neurology Clinic or for other reasons, will also be included. Research Methods: Participants will complete questionnaires related to demographic details, quality of life, sleep, and emotional status. Inclusion Criteria: Children between the ages of 6 and 18 years with Migraine. Exclusion Criteria: Children unable or unwilling to complete the questionnaires, and those with secondary headaches or other chronic illness. Informed Consent: Participants aged 11 and older will provide informed consent, while younger children will receive oral explanations, and their paren
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of tirzepatide in adolescents that have obesity or overweight with at least one weight-related comorbidity. The study will last approximately 90 weeks and may include up to 25 visits.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate sacituzumab tirumotecan versus chemotherapy (docetaxel or pemetrexed) for the treatment of previously-treated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with exon 19del or exon 21 L858R EGFR mutations (hereafter referred to as EGFR mutations or EGFR-mutated) or any of the follow genomic alterations: ALK gene rearrangements, ROS1 rearrangements, BRAF V600E mutations, NTRK gene fusions, MET exon 14 skipping mutations, RET rearrangements, or less common EGFR point mutations of exon 20 S768I, exon 21 L861Q, or exon 18 G719X mutations. The primary hypotheses are that sacituzumab tirumotecan is: (1) superior to chemotherapy with respect to progression-free survival (PFS) per RECIST 1.1 as assessed by BICR in NSCLC with EGFR mutations; and (2) superior to chemotherapy with respect to overall survival (OS) in NSCLC with EGFR mutations.
The investigators propose a proof of concept RCT (randomized clinical trial), testing the efficacy of intranasal insulin (INI) with semaglutide, a combination therapy with strong biological plausibility to benefit impaired cognition through vascular mechanisms, in older adults with MetS (metabolic syndrome) and MCI (Mild Cognitive Impairment), who are enriched for cerebrovascular disease and at high dementia risk. The study will focus on cognitive and biological outcomes, allowing identification of relevant mechanisms.
The goal of this clinical trial is investigate the efficacy of a neuro/vascular-protective treatment with the drug Cerebrolysin in patients with acute ischemic stroke. starting immediately after completion of a EVT therapy. The main question the study aims to answer is: If a 10 days treatment with the neuro/vascularprotective drug Cerebrolysin (30 ml/day as intravenous infusion) is able to increase the overall outcome of EVT therapy? Participants will receive intravenous treatment with Cerebrolysin (30 ml/day) starting immediately after thrombolytic therapy and being continued for 10 consecutive days as one single daily infusion. The modified Rankin Scale (mRS) 90 days after onset of symptoms will be investigated, but also the improvement in other ratings as well as the time course of the improvement. In addition to the clinical outcome measures the study will assess neuroimaging perfusion CT-Perfusion parameters to evaluate possible direct improvement in microcirculation that might be an additional mechanism of action of cerebrolysin. CT-Perfusion being done immediately after EVT will provide ability to stratify the data according to non-favorable CT-Perfusion parameters after EVT versus favoravle.
This is a single-center, open-label clinical study. Up to 11 subjects will be enrolled to use the Neuro-trigger device for blinking stimulation for a duration of 14 days.
