NCT ID: NCT06065696 Completed - Anesthesia Clinical Trials

Enhanced Recovery After Surgery Protocol on Early Mobilization After Colorectal Surgery

Start date: February 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Early mobilization is an important factor in increasing postoperative colorectal surgeries outcome. There are four components held by anesthesiologist in Enhanced Recovery After Surgery protocol for colorectal surgery in our hospital: post operative nausea and vomiting (PONV) prophylaxis, intraoperative fluid management, intraoperative multimodal analgesia, and postoperative opioid-free pain management. Although early mobilization affected by postoperative pain, vomiting and nausea, and fluid balance management, nonetheless, there is no clear evidence of how much each of these components will affect early mobilization.

MENJAGA: Continuous Quality Improvement for Antenatal HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis B Testing in Indonesia

MENJAGA
Start date: October 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Elimination of mother-to-child-transmission (EMTCT) of HIV, syphilis and hepatitis B are key priorities in Indonesia, the fourth most populous country in the world. Despite national guidelines and strong antenatal care attendance, coverage of antenatal screening for these diseases among pregnant women remains extremely limited in Indonesia. The Indonesian government is committed to improving the integration of HIV/syphilis/hepatitis B testing and treatment into the antenatal platform but currently lacks comprehensive evidence on interventions to support this. We will evaluate a low-cost and locally driven intervention based on the principles of continuous quality improvement to strengthen antenatal care and promote screening for HIV, syphilis and hepatitis B. Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), which involves local antenatal care (ANC) teams systematically collecting and reflecting on local data to inform the design and implementation of service delivery, has been effectively used to strengthen ANC in a number of Sub-Saharan African countries but yet to be comprehensively evaluated in ANC services in Indonesia. This approach holds considerable promise for Indonesia, a highly populous and diverse country where a 'one size fits all' approach to the delivery of quality ANC rarely applies.

NCT ID: NCT06054919 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Vitamin D Deficiency

The Effect of Vitamin D3 Therapy on Vitamin D Status in Pregnant Women With Vitamin D Deficient and Insufficient

Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study is a randomized controlled trial which compares the effect of vitamin D3 therapy 5,000 IU daily and 50,000 IU on 25(OH)D and 1,25(OH)2D, VDBP, and 24,25(OH)2D maternal serum levels in pregnant women with vitamin D deficient and insufficient.

NCT ID: NCT06053853 Completed - Safety Issues Clinical Trials

Post Marketing Surveillance of Diphtheria Antitoxin (DAT)

Start date: January 31, 2023
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to evaluate the safety profile of Diphtheria Antitoxin

NCT ID: NCT06053281 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Drug Resistant Epilepsy

The Role of Vitamin D in Neuroinflammatory on Drug Resistant Epilepsy

Start date: January 19, 2024
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The incident of epilepsy still very high in Indonesia, thus many patients become drug resistant epilepsy. As vitamin D has some anticonvulsant effect, the investigators want to study if an additional dose of vitamin D can help with the therapy responses.

NCT ID: NCT06049862 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Primary Hypertension

The Effectiveness of "MaRiTensi" in Increasing Self-Care and Blood Pressure Control: Randomized Controlled Trial

"MaRiTensi"
Start date: October 11, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study aims to know the effectiveness of "MaRiTensi" in improving knowledge, motivation, efficacy, self-care and blood pressure control for hypertension patients. This study hypothesizes that MaRiTensi effectively increases the knowledge, motivation, self-efficacy and self-care of hypertensive patients and reduces blood pressure in the intervention group compared to the control group. Respondent recruitment is as follows: 1. The respondent candidate will be identified based on data on record medical 2. Appropriate respondent candidates' criteria inclusion and exclusion contacted for given informed consent 3. Prospective respondents who are willing to participate and fulfill the criteria for pressure blood moment measurement will request signed consent 4. Respondents fill in the basic data and recapitulate by the assistant researcher 5. Done randomization for allocation of group interventions and group control 6. Respondents given envelope closed (using sequentially numbered, opaque sealed envelopes (SNOSE) method ) 7. Respondents' group intervention was given maintenance by Hospital or health center standard-added intervention using MaRiTensi by conditions; meanwhile, group control was provided care by Hospital or health center standards.

NCT ID: NCT06047418 Completed - Surgical Incision Clinical Trials

The main questions it aims to answer are: - What are the numerical post-operative pain scores in these two groups? - Is there any significant difference in the numerical post-operative pain scores between subjects who underwent TAP block and subjects who underwent ESP block? - What are the differences in the time needed for additional morphine in these two groups? - Is there any significant differences in the time needed for additional morphine between subjects who underwent TAP block and subjects who underwent ESP block?

NCT ID: NCT06044506 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Autologous Natural Killer Cell Therapy for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Start date: August 29, 2022
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study represents a phase I clinical trial that utilizes natural killer (NK) cell therapy for patients diagnosed with liver cancer, specifically those classified as Child-Pugh A and falling within the Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer (BCLC) stages B or C. The expected results include determining the suitable treatment dosage, identifying any resulting side effects, and calculating the average duration of progression-free survival. The target group for the study consists of all individuals diagnosed with liver cancer. At the same time, the practical sample consists of those who received medical care for liver cancer at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) between May and December 2022. The chosen research sample comprises liver cancer patients who fulfill the predetermined participation criteria. The necessary sample size for discerning appropriate treatment dosages and the occurrence rate of potential side effects shall consist of 2-3 liver cancer patients who are administered autologous NK cells. The process for isolating these NK cells adheres to the guidelines established by Miltenyi Biotec.
