Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) studies reported consistent and substantial impairments in the central nervous system (CNS) in multiple sclerosis (MS). Studies of peripheral nervous system (PNS) function comprising electromyoneurography (EMNG) reported impairments of the PNS in MS that were less pronounced and inconsistent. Neurophysiological studies are generally small and cross-sectional and with the poor grouping of MS patients according to MS type. The objective of the study is to investigate clinical, neurophysiological, and immunological markers in relapsing-remitting MS patients, and in patients with relapsing-remitting MS treated with immunomodulation. The results of the study may contribute to a better understanding of the pathophysiology of multiple sclerosis and can provide guidance in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with relapsing-remitting MS.
The study will compare the efficacy and safety of entrectinib with crizotinib in participants with advanced or metastatic ROS1 non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The participants will self-administer oral entrectinib or crizotinib as described in the protocol and local prescribing information. Treatments will continue until progressive disease, unacceptable toxicity, death, or withdrawal from the study, whichever occurs first.

In recent years, novel insights into the biology of Follicular Lymphoma (FL), and especially the role of the microenvironment, have resulted in the development of multiple novel treatment modalities. These new agents may ultimately improve the outlook for patients with FL with an unfavorable course, but for the development of the optimal therapeutic strategy, knowledge on the clinical and biological determinants of early refractory FL is needed.
This study is a prospective, single-arm, open-label study following patients to 1 year, to evaluate the safety and performance of the Centauri System for catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation (AF). The study is intended for adult patients (age 18-75 years) who are indicated for a first-time catheter ablation of AF where the pre-procedure treatment plan contemplates pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) in patients with paroxysmal AF (PAF) or short-duration (<1 year) persistent AF (PeAF).

Research goals: 1. Examination of the relationship between the use of vortioxetine and cognitive efficacy in patients with schizophrenia. 2. Examination of the association between the use of vortioxetine and the presence depressive symptoms, physical and social anhedonia in patients with the disease from schizophrenia. 3. Examining the association between vortioxetine use and quality of life (functional recovery) in patients with schizophrenia Expected results (hypotheses) 1. Patients with schizophrenia treated with additional therapy vortioxetine will show better cognitive achievement in memory (short-term and long-term), attention, logical reasoning and reasoning, speed of information processing, processing of visual and sound information, language and speech in relation to patients without additional intervention. 2. Patients with schizophrenia treated with additional therapy vortioxetine will have a less pronounced presence of depressive symptoms, physical and social anhedonia in relation to untreated patients with additional vortioxetine therapy. 3. Patients with schizophrenia who were treated with additional therapy vortioxetine will have a better quality of life, ie. better functional recovery
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is an essential molecule in human body. It acts as an antioxidant, a co-factor for energy conversion in mitochondria and has anti-inflammatory effects capable of improving endothelial function. Our goal is to investigate whether CoQ10 is capable to reduce the incidence of acute kidney injury/failure following cardiac surgery. Cardiac surgery is major risk factor for acute kidney injury/failure (AKI/F).
