NCT ID: NCT04617925 Recruiting - AL Amyloidosis Clinical Trials

A Study of Belantamab Mafodotin in Patients With Relapsed or Refractory AL Amyloidosis

EMN27
Start date: February 26, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label, multicenter, Phase 2 study in subjects with previously treated patients with light chain (AL) amyloidosis in need for therapy. Approximately 35 subjects will receive therapy with belantamab mafodotin. Subject participation will include a Screening Phase, a Treatment Phase, a Post-Treatment Observation Phase, and a Long-term Follow-up Phase. A safety run-in will be conducted in 6 subjects treated with belantamab mafodotin for at least 1 cycle. According to the two-stage statistical design of the study, an interim analysis of efficacy will occur. If after 15 patients have been enrolled at least 3 complete or very good partial responses have been recorded, the accrual will continue until all planned patients have been enrolled

NCT ID: NCT04613596 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Phase 2 Trial of Adagrasib Monotherapy and in Combination With Pembrolizumab and a Phase 3 Trial of Adagrasib in Combination in Patients With a KRAS G12C Mutation KRYSTAL-7

Start date: December 2, 2020
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The Phase 2 portion of this study evaluates the efficacy and safety of MRTX849 monotherapy and in combination with pembrolizumab in cohorts of patients with advanced NSCLC with KRAS G12C mutation and any PD-L1 TPS and who are candidates for first-line treatment. The Phase 3 portion of the study compares the efficacy of adagrasib in combination with pembrolizumab versus pembrolizumab in patients with unresectable, locally advanced or metastatic nonsquamous NSCLC with KRAS G12C mutation and PD-L1 TPS >=50% and who are candidates for first line treatment.

NCT ID: NCT04609904 Recruiting - Asthma Clinical Trials

Study to Assess PT010 in Adult and Adolescent Participants With Inadequately Controlled Asthma (LOGOS)

LOGOS
Start date: March 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a variable length study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of budesonide/glycopyrronium/formoterol inhaler in adults and adolescents with severe asthma inadequately controlled with standard of care.

NCT ID: NCT04604782 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

A Study to Evaluate the Safety and Pharmacokinetics of Regadenoson in Pediatric Patients

Rapiscan PIP
Start date: May 20, 2021
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a multi-centre, open-label, single-dose safety, tolerability and PK-pharmacodynamics (PD) study of the vasodilator regadenoson in 3 paediatric age groups for whom a pharmacologic stress perfusion CMR test is clinically indicated; adolescents aged 12 to <18 years (Cohort A), children aged 2 to <12 years (Cohort B), and infants aged 1 to <24 months and who weigh at least 3 kg (Cohort C). Regadenoson will be used as the pharmacologic stress agent in this study with MPI serving as both surrogate pharmacodynamic marker of the agent (MPR, MBF) and a clinically evaluable examination for the patient

NCT ID: NCT04603807 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Carcinoma, Non-Small-Cell Lung

A Study to Compare the Efficacy and Safety of Entrectinib and Crizotinib in Participants With Advanced or Metastatic ROS1 Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) With and Without Central Nervous System (CNS) Metastases

Start date: September 30, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The study will compare the efficacy and safety of entrectinib with crizotinib in participants with advanced or metastatic ROS1 non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The participants will self-administer oral entrectinib or crizotinib as described in the protocol and local prescribing information. Treatments will continue until progressive disease, unacceptable toxicity, death, or withdrawal from the study, whichever occurs first.

NCT ID: NCT04596631 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2

A Research Study to Compare a New Medicine Oral Semaglutide to a Dummy Medicine in Children and Teenagers With Type 2 Diabetes

PIONEER TEENS
Start date: November 2, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study compares 2 medicines for type 2 diabetes: semaglutide (new medicine) and a dummy medicine (placebo). Semaglutide will be tested to see how well it works compared to the dummy medicine. The study will also test if semaglutide is safe in children and teenagers. Participants will either get semaglutide or the dummy medicine - which one is decided by chance. Participants will take 1 tablet of the study medicine every morning on an empty stomach. They have to wait 30 minutes before they eat, drink or take any other medication by mouth. The study will last for about 1 year and 3 months (66 weeks). Participants will have 12 clinic visits and 8 phone calls with the study doctor. At all 12 clinic visits, participants will have blood samples taken. Participants will also be asked some questions.

NCT ID: NCT04584944 Recruiting - Sarcopenia Clinical Trials

Appendicular Skeletal Muscle Mass Study

SmmS
Start date: June 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

There is a lot of discussion concerning the normal cut-off points of skeletal mass among different populations worldwide. Genetic and environmental differences most probably lead to different measurements. Defining muscle mass in healthy young adults in Greece will provide information that can be used to determine normal ranges of muscle mass of both sexes and consequently define sarcopenia. The aim of the study is to define appendicular skeletal muscle mass reference measurements in healthy young adults in Greece. These values can be used to determine sarcopenia cut-offs according to recommendations.

NCT ID: NCT04580173 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Correlation of Clinical Types and Complexity of Coronary Artery Disease With Patients' Metabolic Profile

CorLipid
Start date: July 12, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The purpose of the research project is to investigate the potential association of the complexity and the severity of coronary artery disease (as assessed via SYNTAX score) with patients' metabolic profile. The aim of the study is to combine biochemical, clinical and laboratory data in order to create an algorithm that will enable an individualized therapeutic patient approach.

NCT ID: NCT04575194 Recruiting - Obesity Clinical Trials

Study of the Cardiometabolic Effects of Obesity Pharmacotherapy

Start date: September 8, 2020
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The aim of the present study is to compare the efficacy of liraglutide vs. naltrexone/bupropion on metabolic and cardiovascular risk markers, weight loss, as well as the postprandial secretion of gastrointestinal hormones involved in hunger and satiety, after a test meal. The study will include 40 patients, who will further be divided into two treatment groups (20 patients on liraglutide vs. 20 patients on naltrexone/bupropion). The patients will be examined at baseline, 3 and 6 months after the treatment initiation.
