NCT ID: NCT05101538 Recruiting - Anorexia Nervosa Clinical Trials

Anorexia Nervosa and Its Effects on Brain Function, Body Metabolism and Their Interaction

AVAIN
Start date: November 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The neuromolecular and metabolic underpinnings of Anorexia Nervosa (AN) are studied using multi-modal molecular (positron emission tomography with two different radioligands) and functional (functional magnetic resonance imaging) neuroimaging in a prospective design. Subjects with AN and normal weight adolescents will be studied with PET and MRI and followed for five years.

NCT ID: NCT05100511 Completed - Healthy Clinical Trials

Fundus Image-guided Focal Electroretinography, Usability Study

Start date: November 4, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to investigate the usability of fundus image-guided focal electroretinography device with healthy subjects and with macular edema and macular degeneration patients.

NCT ID: NCT05096403 Suspended - Clinical trials for Cold Agglutinin Disease

A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Pegcetacoplan in Patients With Cold Agglutinin Disease (CAD)

Start date: October 20, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to determine the efficacy of pegcetacoplan administration compared to placebo in increasing hemoglobin (Hgb) level from baseline and avoiding transfusion in participants with primary cold agglutinin disease (CAD).

NCT ID: NCT05094843 Recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

The Cardiac Stress and Electrocardiographic Changes Caused by Lung Cancer Surgery

Start date: February 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Lung cancer surgery causes significant changes in the small circulation as well as changes in the intrathoracic anatomy. The effects of lung cancer surgery on electrocardiography and the cardiac stress associated with the procedures have not been previously extensively studied. The aim of the present study is to ascertain whether modern mini-invasive lung cancer surgery causes changes in the electrocardiogram, and whether these changes are transitory during short-term follow-up. Furthermore, the study aims to describe whether lung cancer surgery causes significant cardiac stress detectable by intraoperative electrocardiography.

NCT ID: NCT05094479 Completed - Pregnancy Clinical Trials

E-health App and Lifestyle Changes During Pregnancy

E-HEALTH
Start date: June 21, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this online follow-up study is to investigate health app use in pregnant women and through a pilot intervention trial investigate whether the addition of evidence-based information on health-promoting lifestyle delivered via the health app has an effect on lifestyle habits (gestational weight, diet quality and physical activity) during pregnancy.

NCT ID: NCT05093361 Completed - Hip Arthritis Clinical Trials

Randomized Controlled Trial of Total Hip Arthroplasty

Start date: September 1, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to compare the effect of total hip arthroplasty and conservative treatment to hip pain, to activities of daily life and to the quality of life in patients with hip osteoarthritis.

NCT ID: NCT05091853 Active, not recruiting - Surgery Clinical Trials

Laparscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair - Does the Choice of Self-fixated Mesh Matter?

Start date: May 9, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Self-fixed mesh and postoperative pain after laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery, a randomized clinical trial

NCT ID: NCT05085366 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Cytomegalovirus Infection

A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy, Safety, and Immunogenicity of mRNA-1647 Cytomegalovirus (CMV) Vaccine in Healthy Participants 16 to 40 Years of Age

Start date: October 26, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of mRNA 1647 vaccine in CMV-seronegative female participants and to evaluate the safety and reactogenicity of mRNA-1647 vaccine in all participants. The purpose of the Phase 3 extension sub study is to extend the observation period of the main study and to evaluate the longer-term immune persistence of mRNA-1647 vaccine administered to CMV-seronegative females who complete mRNA-1647-P301 main study and to assess for CMV seroconversion in CMV-seronegative participants who did not seroconvert during mRNA-1647-P301 main study. No interventional vaccine will be administered in the extension study.

NCT ID: NCT05084937 Enrolling by invitation - Celiac Disease Clinical Trials

Celiac Disease in Childhood-Adulthood Transition

CeliCAT
Start date: November 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Aims of this study are to evaluate adolescents with celiac disease during their transition from pediatrics to adult care, and to develop better healthcare follow-up practices.

NCT ID: NCT05084222 Completed - Asthma Clinical Trials

Use of Buventol Easyhaler and Bufomix Easyhaler in Methacoline Challenge Testing

EASYRELIEF
Start date: November 11, 2021
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The study compares Buventol® Easyhaler® and Bufomix® Easyhaler® to the current standard treatment during methacholine challenge test. The trial will also provide inspiratory flow profile data for Easyhaler inhaler. This trial is designed to provide a further evidence for the use of Easyhaler in diagnostic bronchial challenge tests and on the use of Easyhaler inhaler during obstructive event.
