NCT ID: NCT05464420 Completed - Clinical trials for Pneumococcal Disease

A Study to Evaluate the Safety, Tolerability, Immunogenicity, and Lot Consistency of V116 in Adults 18 to 49 Years of Age (V116-004, STRIDE-4)

Start date: August 12, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity of a pneumococcal 21-valent conjugate vaccine (V116) in pneumococcal vaccine-naïve adults 18 to 49 years of age. The primary study hypothesis is that all 3 lots of V116 are equivalent as assessed by the serotype-specific opsonophagocytic activity (OPA) Geometric Mean Titers (GMTs) at 30 days postvaccination for all serotypes included in V116.

NCT ID: NCT05462067 Completed - Cataract Clinical Trials

Combined EDOF / Trifocal

Start date: March 14, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to obtain postoperative visual performance data of patients with bilateral implantation of the AT LARA IOL or the AT LARA implanted in the dominant eye and AT LISA tri implanted in the other eye. Dependence on spectacles, the occurrence of photic phenomena and patient and surgeon satisfaction with the patient's visual performance will be documented. Furthermore, the refraction data will be used to optimize the IOL constants for IOL power calculations.

NCT ID: NCT05461755 Completed - Striae Distensae Clinical Trials

Treatment of Striae Distensae With Fractional Radiofrequency and Topical Tretinoin

Start date: November 22, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The study aims to explore the potential of combination therapy with fractional radiofrequency and topical tretinoin for treatment and overall improvement of striae albae. We also aim to assess subject satisfaction, local skin responses and adverse effects/reactions in relation to the treatments, alone and in combination.

NCT ID: NCT05458167 Completed - Diabetes Clinical Trials

HEdia eXercise Algorithm - HEXA Study.

Start date: April 3, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

A randomised controlled crossover pilot study to evaluate safety and efficacy of a digital insulin bolus calculator with a physical activity module

NCT ID: NCT05457764 Completed - Virtual Reality Clinical Trials

Erotica by Virtual Reality on Sperm Donors

Start date: August 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Objective To study whether erotica by virtual reality (VR) during masturbation influences the quality of sperm donor ejaculates. Hypothesis Erotica by virtual reality improves ejaculate quality.

NCT ID: NCT05453474 Completed - Hereditary Diseases Clinical Trials

Cell-based Non-invasive Prenatal Testing as an Alternative to Invasive Chorionic Villus Sampling

Start date: August 8, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The study aims to evaluate cell-based non-invasive prenatal testing (cbNIPT) as an alternative to invasive chorionic villus sampling (CVS) in patients who achieve pregnancy following preimplantation genetic testing for hereditary disorders.

NCT ID: NCT05452798 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

A Retrospective Non-interventional Study of Breast Cancer Patients Diagnosed With HR+/HER2- Locally Advanced or Metastatic Breast Cancer Treated With Palbociclib in Denmark

Start date: February 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The objective is to retrospectively describe and assess clinical and demographical characteristics, treatment patterns in a real-world (RW) setting of patients with HR+/HER2- (hormone receptor positive/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 negative) locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer receiving palbociclib in combination treatment

NCT ID: NCT05448274 Completed - Healthy Clinical Trials

The Effects of a Ruminococcus Torques Strain Bacterium in Healthy Adults.

Start date: May 3, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

A randomized, placebo controlled crossover study investigating the potential metabolic effects of the naturally occurring gut microbe Ruminococcus torques in healthy, overweight adults.

NCT ID: NCT05447533 Completed - Aged Clinical Trials

Clostridioides Difficile and Frailty

CLODIFRAIL
Start date: September 16, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

CDI is a major cause of antibiotics-associated diarrhoea. More than half of the patients affected are 70 years or older and frail. Mortality among older patients with CDI is high. Faecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) is a life-saving therapy which reduce symptom duration and mortality. The FMT procedure usually requires hospital attendance, and frail old patients often are too weak to tolerate transportation to hospital and may therefore be withheld treatment. The overall aim of the present project is to investigate whether a multimodal geriatric assessment, treatment and follow-up of frail older patients with CDI can improve patient survival compared with standard care. In particular, it is explored whether an expanded collaboration between the geriatric wards, early clinical assessment and home treatment with FMT contribute to increased patient survival rates.

NCT ID: NCT05444725 Completed - Clinical trials for Breast Cancer Female

Investigating Barriers for Decision Making in a Danish Breast Cancer Screening Context

Start date: June 22, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim is to investigate potential barriers to informed decision making in a breast cancer screening context. This is a necessary step prior to developing and investigating improved information or decision aids in a Danish breast cancer screening context.
