The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of tiragolumab plus atezolizumab compared with placebo plus atezolizumab in participants with previously untreated locally advanced, unresectable or metastatic PD-L1-selected non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), with no epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation or anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) translocation. Eligible participants will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive either tiragolumab plus atezolizumab or placebo plus atezolizumab.
Gastric volume will be measured before, 5, 30, 60, 90 and 120 min after drinking 450ml of maltodextrin in young adults and elderly.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of brolucizumab compared to panretinal photocoagulation laser (PRP) in patients with proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR). This evaluation will provide information that brolucizumab is non-inferior to PRP with respect to the change in best corrected visual acuity at Week 54.
Preventive and rehabilitation programs include plyometric exercises to promote agility, power, and muscle activation pattern during jumping. These exercises also are known to cause a high mechanical load that increases the risk of a musculoskeletal injury. The knowledge regarding the musculoskeletal damage result from this configuration of exercise can help to elaborate safer and effective training and rehabilitation programs. In this study, the investigators will conduct a clinical trial to determine the acute effect of plyometric exercises on damage caused on different portions of quadriceps and biceps femoral's muscles and tendons of quadriceps, and biceps femoral, and its effects on mechanical properties.

A study to assess the efficacy and safety of durvalumab in combination with platinum-based chemotherapy (paclitaxel + carboplatin) followed by maintenance durvalumab with or without olaparib for patients with newly diagnosed advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer.
Post-Mastectomy Pain Syndrome (PMPS) is a chronic pain that persists for more than three months after a surgical breast procedure. It has 11-70% incidence in patients that underwent a breast surgery. It consists of mixed pain, frequently associated with myofascial pain, an specific type of muscular pain. Trigger point injections (TPI) are classically used for the treatment of myofascial pain in other painful conditions. However, there are no controlled trials assessing the efficacy of TPI in the treatment of PMPS. The intervention objective is to assess the efficacy of TPI in patients with PMPS, when associated with a comprehensive rehabilitation program and pain management.
This is a Phase III multi-center, randomized, two-arm parallel-group, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of MBG453 or placebo added to azacitidine in adult subjects with intermediate, high or very high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) as per IPSS-R, or Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia-2 (CMML-2) who are not eligible for intensive chemotherapy or hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) according to medical judgment by the investigator. The purpose of the current study is to assess clinical effects of MBG453 in combination with azacitidine in adult subjects with IPSS-R intermediate, high, very high risk MDS and CMML-2.
This phase IV trial compares 3 different dosing schedules to find the optimal number of doses for HPV vaccination in children and adolescents living with HIV. Comparing 3 different dosing schedules may help researchers determine whether a single dose of HPV vaccine could be effective in preventing HPV in children and adolescents living with HIV.
