Compuflo Instrument for Thoracic ES Identification

The purpose of this pilot study is to evaluate whether the Compuflo Epidural Instrument injection pump technology, which is FDA approved for lumbar epidural anesthesia, is also capable of identifying the thoracic epidural space through measurement of pressure levels. While this device is approved by the FDA for use in the procedure of the lumbar epidural, it is not used to perform the epidural procedure but rather to measure the epidural pressure. This study will likewise measure the epidural pressure.

My Research Legacy Pilot Study

The My Research Legacy Pilot Study will establish a participant registry that collects self-reported health data and answers to online survey questions about individual daily choices, diets, and exercise; data from wearable devices; and, (optional) data from genome sequencing analysis. Individuals under the age of 50 who meet eligibility criteria will answer questions using the American Heart Association's (AHA) Life's Simple 7™ My Life Check v4.0 three times over the course of 6 months and transmit data from a Fitbit Charge 2 device. All other individuals who are interested in the study and meet entry criteria may also enroll.

This postmarket surveillance study is being conducted to evaluate the TRANSITION Stabilization System as an adjunct to fusion in the treatment of acute or chronic instabilities or deformities of the thoracic, lumbar and sacral spine. The study will involve up to 360 subjects at no more than 20 sites, to be treated with the TRANSITION Stabilization System. The data from this postmarket surveillance study will be provided to FDA in accordance with the 522 order.
