Filter by:Adenocarcinoma of the pancreas is a major public health issue because of its disastrous prognosis. The symptomatology of locally advanced or metastatic forms, particularly painful, is often major and difficult to balance, impacting both the quality of life of patients (and those around them) and the course of treatment (chemotherapy). The objective of this study is to evaluate the interest and feasibility of telemedicine in the management of pain in patients undergoing treatment for advanced or metastatic pancreatic cancer.
The study researchers think that combining the drugs pembrolizumab and olaparib (POLAR) may help people with this disease because pembrolizumab activates the immune system to fight cancer, and olaparib destroys cancer cells by preventing them from repairing damage to the genetic information that helps them survive and grow. The study researchers are doing this study to find out whether combining these drugs may be a more effective treatment for this cancer than taking olaparib alone.
This trial will look at a drug called SGN-STNV to find out whether it is safe for patients with solid tumors. It will study SGN-STNV to find out what its side effects are. A side effect is anything the drug does besides treating cancer. It will also study how well SGN-STNV works to treat solid tumors. The study will have two parts. Part A of the study will find out how much SGN-STNV should be given to patients. Part B will use the dose found in Part A to find out how safe SGN-STNV is and if it works to treat certain types of solid tumors.
The Early Detection Initiative for Pancreatic Cancer is a multi-center randomized controlled trial to determine if algorithm-based screening in patients with new onset hyperglycemia and diabetes can result in earlier detection of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of lenvatinib (E7080/MK-7902) plus pembrolizumab (MK-3475) plus chemotherapy compared with chemotherapy alone in participants with advanced/metastatic gastroesophageal cancer. The primary study hypotheses are that lenvatinib plus pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy is superior to chemotherapy alone for both overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) per Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors version 1.1 (RECIST 1.1) as assessed by blinded independent central review (BICR), in participants with programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) Combined Positive Score (CPS) ≥1 and in all participants.
In present study, the investigators evaluate the safety and efficacy of OIS-derived NASOX regimen (nal-IRI, S-1, oxaliplatin) in advanced pancreatic cancer. NASOX regimen contains nal-IRI, which has recently been proven effective in pancreatic cancer.
This is a phase II, multicenter, randomized, open-label study designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of perioperative trastuzumab+XELOX with / without atezolizumab in participants eligible for surgery with locally advanced HER2-positive gastric cancer or adenocarcinoma of GEJ.
Phase 1, first-in-human, open label study of CAR macrophages in HER2 overexpressing solid tumors.
This phase II trial studies the effect of the combination of ramucirumab and trifluridine/tipiracil or paclitaxel in treating patients with previously treated gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer that has spread to other places in the body (advanced). Ramucirumab may damage tumor cells by targeting new blood vessel formation. Trifluridine/tipiracil is a chemotherapy pill and that may damage tumor cells by damaging their deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). Paclitaxel may block cell growth by stopping cell division which may kill tumor cells. Giving ramucirumab and trifluridine/tipiracil will not be worse than ramucirumab and paclitaxel in treating gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer.
In this research study, is studying how Liposomal Irinotecan in combination with the standard of care interventions FOLFOX, carboplatin paclitaxel, and radiation therapy affect gastroesophageal junction or esophagogastric cancer This research study involves the following study intervention: - Liposomal irinotecan
