Adenocyte has developed LINFU®, (Low Intensity Non-Focused Ultrasound excitation of the pancreas) as a method of identifying early, asymptomatic pancreatic cancer and its noninvasive precancerous lesions. The test involves ultrasound and an analysis of pancreatic juice. A neural network-based computer-assisted system may be utilized to enhance the analysis. Patients enrolled are being screened for pancreatic cancer because they have known risk factors (i.e. smoking, diabetes, chronic pancreatitis, family history of pancreatic cancer, or certain genetic syndromes).
This study is an open, exploratory clinical study. Eligible patients with advanced second-line gastric/gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma signed an informed consent form, were screened for enrollment, and were entered into Group A (non-immune retreatment group-patients who had failed previous first-line treatment with standard chemotherapy) and Group B (immune retreatment-patients who had obtained SD and above with best efficacy of previous first-line treatment with PD-1 antibody) based on whether they had received previous first-line treatment with PD-1 antibody. All patients received a combination of envafolimab and lenvatinib in combination with paclitaxel-albumin and were treated until disease progression, withdrawal of informed consent by the subject, loss to follow-up, and death, where treatment did not exceed 2 years. Clinical oncologic imaging assessments were performed using iRECIST every 8 weeks during treatment; safety assessments were performed using CTCAE 5.0, and adverse events were recorded throughout the study up to 30 days after the end of treatment.
The study aims at evaluating spatially resolved gene expression profiles of pancreatic and ampullary adenocarcinoma at favorable prognosis after surgical resection, in order to identify molecular features associated to a less aggressive biologic behavior that may benefit from upfront surgery.
This is a single center, single arm, phase II, prospective study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Hepatic Arterial Infusion Chemotherapy (HAIC) combined with PD-1 inhibitor immunotherapy Toripalimab and Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor Donafenib in patients with advanced biliary tract cancer.
Lung cancer is a major public health problem and remains the leading cause of cancer mortality worldwide. Moreover, in France, it is the 3rd most common cancer in terms of incidence. Its prognosis remains poor despite the emergence of new therapies, notably the Epithelial Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) specific tyrosine kinase inhibitors which can be used in patients with adenocarcinoma presenting an activating mutation of EGFR. In addition, a number of questions remain regarding the use of these molecules, including the possibility of combining them with other therapies such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy. In addition, the duration of treatment with tyrosine kinase inhibitors is a matter of debate, mainly in localised forms (ADAURA trial). For this reason, we have proposed tests using TKIs on an in vitro platform based on organoid formation from tumour biopsies of NSCLC patients. This model will allow to test different molecules, in particular osimertinib which is a third generation tyrosine kinase inhibitor. In this way, it will be possible to evaluate in vitro responder patients within a timeframe compatible with the timeframe proposed by the INCA (4-6 weeks). For non-responders, it will also be possible to screen them in vitro and seek the ideal alternative therapy. This model therefore aims to develop personalised medicine in thoracic oncology and could be used as a decision aid during multidisciplinary consultation meetings.
A randomized controlled trial, nested within an existing prospective cohort (Dutch Pancreatic Cancer Project; PACAP) according to the 'trials within cohorts' (TwiCs) design in which the effect of a standardized surveillance, with serial tumor marker testing and routine imaging, compared to current non-standardized practice, on overall survival and quality of life in patients with primary resected PDAC is investigated. The most important secondary endpoint is quality of life. Other secondary endpoints are clinical and radiological patterns of PDAC recurrence, the compliance of patients to our standardized follow-up strategy, the impact of a standardized surveillance on (eligibility for) additional treatment, and the tolerance of additional treatment. The need for this clinical trial is emphasized by the the emergence of more potent local and more effective systemic treatments for PDAC recurrence, leading to a rising interest in early diagnosis by a standardized approach to follow-up with routine imaging and serial serum tumor marker testing.

To identify: 1) Whether being informed infrequently results about screening is at least as a) safe and b) accurate as frequently obtaining all information from (the present combination of opportunistic/organized) cervical screening by comparing regimen results of two screening visits at the ages of 25 and 28 years (Arm A1) vs. results of one screening visit at the age of 28 years (Arm A2) in unvaccinated herd effect protected women. Unvaccinated, frequently screened women, who are not under herd effect protection will be controls (C).
The Early Detection Initiative for Pancreatic Cancer is a multi-center randomized controlled trial to determine if algorithm-based screening in patients with new onset hyperglycemia and diabetes can result in earlier detection of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
