NCT ID: NCT06036901 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Asan Medical Center CCTA Registry

Start date: January 1, 2007
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

A total of 9269 adults who received CCTA scans for coronary disease evaluation during a general medical checkup at the Health Screening and Promotion Center in Asan Medical Center, Seoul, Korea between January 2007 and December 2011 were initially selected. All participants were provided with information about the potential benefits and risks of CCTA and made the decision to undergo the procedure at their own expense. They were also informed that their clinical and radiological data would be used for this study and gave their consent. Of these individuals, 7129 agreed to participate, and 6343 were enrolled in this CCTA registry.

NCT ID: NCT05655845 Recruiting - Constipation Clinical Trials

Risk Factors for Bowel Dysfunction at Preschool and Early Childhood Age in Children With Hirschsprung Disease

Start date: August 20, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Bowel dysfunction has been proven as the most common complication after pull-through(PT) of Hirschsprung disease(HD) ,which may persist to adulthood and lead to social problems. The reason of bowel dysfunction is complicated and the risk factors were not defined.

NCT ID: NCT05389956 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Cardiovascular Diseases

Identification of Risk Factors for Cardiovascular Disease and Cancer in Korean Population: A Prospective Cohort Study

Start date: January 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Cancer and cardiovascular disease are the global leading causes of death. These two disease entities are multifactorial disease that are caused by several factors. The aim of this prospective cohort study was to investigate the status of risk factors profiles and health related behavior in Korean population, and to discover novel risk factors associated with the occurrence of endpoint events.

NCT ID: NCT04786561 Completed - Depression Clinical Trials

Depression, Anxiety and Social Relationships as Risk Factors for Dementia

Start date: January 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The main objective of the present work is to establish a firm knowledge base regarding depression and anxiety as risk factors for dementia and how social relationships impact this association. This risk factors, and efforts to reduce them are described through a follow up over three decades.

NCT ID: NCT04506060 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Kidney Transplantation

Evaluation of Renal Pretransplant Serology for BK Virus on the Risk of Post-transplant Viral Reactivation

BKSEREIN
Start date: September 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Due to the increasing importance of BKV infection on the survival of kidney transplants, a better knowledge, in the pretransplant phase, of the risk factors leading to viral reactivation could allow the follow-up physician to be more vigilant and better prevent this pathology. There are no commercial tests for BKV serology. In the virology laboratory, the investigators have developed the technique for producing "Virus-like particles" (VLP) that mimics the antigenic structure of the BK virus. The investigators plan to evaluate seroreactivity to the five BK virus serotypes in the recipient of a kidney transplant as a pretransplant and to compare this data with the detection or not of viral reactivation in the recipient during the first post-transplant year.

NCT ID: NCT04460625 Completed - Critical Illness Clinical Trials

Effect of Blood Group on the Survival Status of Intensive Care Patients

Start date: May 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The research was planned to determine the effect of different blood groups on the 90-day survival of intensive care patients who were treated and maintained for the first time in the intensive care unit. The research is a retrospective descriptive research. For the first time in an intensive care unit aged 18 and over, between January 1, 2014 and December 31, 2019, of a state and a university hospital in the Western Black Sea Region, in intensive care units (both medical and surgical patients), All the patients, who were hospitalized in the intensive care unit for at least 24 hours, were discharged from the intensive care unit for 90 days and less, and all the information in the Patient Information Form can be accessed from the automation system. The research will be conducted between 01.04.2020-01.07.2020 by collecting the necessary data within the 'Patient Information Form' of the patients from the information processing unit of the hospitals where the research will be conducted.

NCT ID: NCT04444791 Not yet recruiting - Pregnancy Clinical Trials

Chinese Pregnant Woman Cohort Study (Offspring Follow-up)

Start date: August 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Purpose: To investigate the growth and development status for children of 1 ~ 3 years old in China, and to explore and analyze the influencing factors of infant growth. Mother's health status would also be investigated simultaneously. Methods and analysis: This is a multicenter prospective cohort study. Participants were all from the Chinese Pregnant Women Cohort Study (CPWCS), which is a multicenter prospective cohort study we conducted before. In simple terms, pregnant women during the first trimester (5~13 weeks' gestational age) were included from 25 July 2017 to 26 November 2018. Related information were collected by electronic self-administered questionnaire, including general information, environmental exposure assessment, physical activity assessment, dietary and nutritional assessment, depression assessment, sleep quality assessment and economic burden assessment. Subsequently, objective medical information, obstetric and neonatal outcomes were collected through hospital information system (HIS). To further assess the mothers' and infants' health status, a new multicenter prospective cohort study, including more than 1000 participants of the CPWCS from 5 hospitals of 5 different provinces in China, will be conducted. Through the electronic self-administered questionnaire surveys and laboratory testing methods, information about infants' feeding, sleeping, defecating, oral health, early development and common allergic diseases will be collected. And we will also assess mothers' current health habits and status, such as sleeping, diet, anxiety, physical activity, and oral health. SAS statistical software will be used for data analysis. Ethics and Dissemination Permission for the study was obtained from Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College. Ethics approval was obtained from the Ethics Review Committee of Department of Scientific Research, School of Basic Medicine, Peking Union Medical College, Beijing, China. The results will be published in peer-reviewed journals or disseminated through conference presentations.
