Medico-economic Evaluation Rehabilitation by Serious Games at Home for the Management of Patients With Parkinson's Disease Suffering From Gait and Balance Disorders

This is a multi-center, randomized, open-label, multi-center, randomized controlled study of 80 Parkinson's disease patients with gait and balance disorders in which 40 patients will be treated with serious games, in addition to their usual care, for 12 months and 40 patients will be treated with their usual care during this period. This study will be conducted in 4 centers, all of which are expert in the management of these patients. After randomization, each patient in the "Intervention-Rehabilitation through Toap Run" group will have to complete 2 to 3 sessions per week at home with the serious game "TOAP RUN" using the Kinect® system for 1 year.

Participants will take 4 different surveys regarding their satisfaction with care throughout the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic. PD-Ballet: Effectiveness and Implementation in Parkinson's Disease

Current literature consistently demonstrates beneficial motor effects of dance-based therapies in Parkinson's disease, along with improved quality of life. Little is known about the non-motor gains following such therapy. To date, no RTC has been conducted to investigate the benefits of ballet dancing in Parkinson's disease. The investigators aim to recruit 160 people with Parkinson's to either: participate in a 12-week ballet-based dancing intervention followed by a 'social Tea and Biscuit' session, or 12-week usual treatment monitoring and 'social Tea and Biscuit' sessions taking place after each intervention session. This study employs a randomised, controlled, single-blind, hybrid type 2 design with a hybrid implementation protocol to investigate both clinical efficacy of the programme and implementation aspects. The project's primary outcome measure is centered around non-motor symptoms of PD. Other measures include motor assessments, wearable sensors and quality of life assessments. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the delivery of the sessions will be a hybrid model - virtual sessions will be the primary method, with some capacity for in-person delivery when possible and deemed safe.

Effects of Kinesthetic Stimuli During XBOX Kinect Training on People With Parkinson's Disease

A single-blind, parallel-group, randomised trial will be conducted in Sao Paulo, Brazil. People with Parkinson's Disease (PD) will be recruited at "Brazil Parkinson Association" (BPA), a non-governmental association of PD care, and randomly allocated in two groups: the Movement Guidance Group (MVG) and NO-MVG Group. Both groups will perform XBOX Kinect training for balance and gait. However, the MVG will receive kinesthetic stimuli manually by the physiotherapist (PT) to improve the participant movements while the NO-MVG Group will not, the presence of the PT will be restrict to only guarantee the participant safety.

Navigated Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for Parkinson's Disease With Depression or Cognitive Impairment

Depressive symptoms are common non-motor symptoms in patients with Parkinson's disease and seriously affect the quality of life and prognosis of patients. Currently, treatment measures for patients with Parkinson's disease with depression are mainly limited to pharmacotherapy, but the side effects of antidepressants and their interaction with anti-Parkinsonian drugs limit the use of pharmacotherapy. Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is a new painless and non-invasive neuromodulation technique that is commonly used in the treatment of depression. As the number of people with Parkinson's disease increases in China, the number of patients with Parkinson's disease and depression requiring rTMS treatment will also increase. The size and shape of individual brains, the distance between the stimulation coil and the responding neuronal tissue, and the location and orientation of anatomical structures are all different, and the use of common localization methods is usually limited by these individual anatomical differences. The traditional method relies on manual positioning of the coil, which is time-consuming and inefficient, and it is difficult to meet the requirements of position, angle, and coil orientation simultaneously. Studies have shown that the benefits of using navigation for rTMS treatment are up to twice as high as those of non-navigation methods. Therefore precise localization is a must for the future standardized application of rTMS in the development of patients with Parkinson's disease with depression. In this study, we applied repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation with neuronavigation to treat patients with Parkinson's disease and depression, and reconstructed cephalometric models with individual cranial imaging data to individualize and precisely target stimulation sites, making rTMS more precise and effective in treating patients with Parkinson's disease and depression, and providing new avenues for further clinical and scientific research.

A single centre non-randomized, non-blinded phase III prospective cohort study of 18F-DOPA PET/CT imaging in specific patient populations: 1. Pediatric patients (less than 18 years old) with congenital hyperinsulinism. 2. Pediatric patients (less than 18 years old) with neuroblastoma. 3. Pediatric (less than 18 years old) or Adult patients (18 or older) with known or clinically suspected neuroendocrine tumor. 4. Adult patients (18 or older) with a clinical suspicion of Parkinson's disease or Lewy body dementia. 5. Pediatric (less than 18 years old) or Adult patients (18 or older) with brain tumors. Image optimization (the primary study objective) and gallbladder activity pattern (the secondary objective) will be evaluated.
