Filter by:This study will create a patient data registry to collect and analyze information on technology usage and outcomes among patients receiving a broad range of relatively new radiation treatments that have become standards of care in our practice. Review of this information will serve as a basis for development of better patient management plans, to inform decisions about acquisition of new technologies, to provide information about quality in our care delivery, and to create a database that will securely warehouse ongoing information about what treatments the patients we serve need most and the challenges they face in the treatment process. The information gathered is likely to not only improve our services at the University of Maryland and its community sites but to advance medical science and enhance the quality of care for cancer patients.
This is an investigational multi-site outcomes registry intended to collect information about a patient's cancer care. Patients may enter the Registry at any time during the patient's current stage in the continuum of care. The registries main objectives will be to measure and evaluate the effects of patient care throughout the care continuum, resulting in the identification of the most effective treatment options. Objectives will encompass evaluations and analytics around safety, effectiveness, and improved efficiencies.
This is a phase II, single arm, unblinded study of ceritinib in patients with rel/ref hematologic malignancies. Up to 24 evaluable subjects will be enrolled with an interim analysis for efficacy after the first 9 subjects are enrolled. Any subject who takes at least one dose of study drug will be evaluable for safety. Only subjects who complete at least 1 cycle of study drug and have clear progression on physical exam or have had at least one restaging study will be considered evaluable for response. Each subject will receive the same dose of 750mg po daily at the study entry. Subjects with stable disease or better will be allowed to continue study drug until disease progression or until intolerable adverse events or patient or physician decision. Intrapatient dose reductions will be allowed for adverse events. This is a multicenter study with Duke as the lead site. Blood and tissue samples, will be collected and used for exploratory analysis.
100 subjects who have a family history of pancreatic cancer (PC), or known genetic syndromes associated with increased risk of pancreatic cancer, will be followed for five years. This data will be used to determine the pancreatic cancer and precancerous lesion detection rate in High Risk Individuals (HRIs). Subjects may agree to annual imaging and annual biomarkers or to biomarkers only.
The goal of this study is to develop a vaccination registry system for Aurora Health Care patients newly diagnosed with MM and other B-Cell Hematologic Malignancies in order to prospectively characterize vaccination history and outcomes such as infection in these patients at Aurora Health Care. Additionally hospitalization rates, cost analysis, infection (influenza, pneumonia, other) related to vaccination in this patient population will be evaluated.
This pilot clinical trial studies how well voxel based diffusion tensor imaging in predicting response in patients with brain metastases undergoing whole-brain radiation therapy or stereotactic radiosurgery. Voxel based diffusion tensor imaging (VB-DTI) may allow doctors to measure response to whole brain radiation therapy or stereotactic radiosurgery earlier than is possible with a standard magnetic resonance imaging. The earlier ability to measure response may allow for consideration of alternative therapies at an earlier stage.
A multi-institutional, prospective, randomised, open-label, superiority, comparative, active-controlled, phase 3 study. The study will compare Synergo RF-induced hyperthermia-chemotherapy (SHTC) plus mitomycin C (MMC) to standard treatment of bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) therapy as first-line adjuvant treatment for intermediate and high-risk NMIBC, and will evaluate recurrence and progression rate over two years of follow-up.
The purpose of this study is to determine safety, tolerability, dose limiting toxicities (DLT) and maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of ZEN003365 in patients with relapsed/refractory lymphoproliferative malignancies (LPM) or relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
This is an open label, multi-center, Phase II study of BBI503 administered to adult patients with selected advanced urologic malignancies. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the disease control rate of patients with renal cell cancer and urothelial carcinoma treated with BBI503.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of Tumor Associated Peptide Antigen (TAPA) pulsed dendritic cell (DC) vaccines in the treatment of progressive and/or refractory hematologic malignancies (HM). We hypothesize that treatment of patients with relapsed and/or refractory HM, without available potentially curative treatment options, and whose neoplastic cells express at least one (1) TAPA of a defined panel of TAPAs, using low-dose cyclophosphamide (CYP) followed by an autologous, monocyte-derived, TAPA-pulsed DC vaccine and low-dose granulocyte macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF), will result in TAPA-specific T-cell responses without significant toxicities. We also hypothesize CD4+ T-cell and CD8+ T-cell responses generated against specific TAPAs may translate into clinical antitumor activity.
