Filter by:The purpose of this study is to assess the mass balance and to characterize the pharmacokinetics (PK) in plasma and urine, and of total radioactivity in plasma and whole blood following a single oral dose of [14C]-TAK-659 solution containing 60 to 80 micro curie (Ci) of total radioactivity in participants with advanced solid tumors and/or lymphomas.
The investigators' overarching goal is to investigate whether use of an augmented reality display system (utilized in addition to, not as a replacement to, conventional CT and MRI displays currently available in the procedure suite) streamlines the process of a procedure and/or provides ease of access to helpful pre-procedure and intra-procedure imaging information that would be more difficult and time-consuming to obtain with the conventional imaging display systems.
This phase Ib/II trial studies the best dose of glembatumumab vedotin when giving together with nivolumab and ipilimumab in treating patients with solid tumor that has spread to other places in the body and cannot be removed by surgery. Monoclonal antibodies, such as glembatumumab vedotin, nivolumab, and ipilimumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread.
This study has 2 parts: a Dose Escalation Part and a Dose Expansion Part. The goal of the Dose Escalation Part of this clinical research study is to find the highest tolerable dose of nivolumab in combination with ipilimumab and the standard of care (lenalidomide and dexamethasone) that can be given to patients with multiple myeloma (MM). The goal of the Dose Expansion Part of this clinical research study is to continue to study the safety of the highest tolerable dose found in Phase 1 of the study.
The purpose of this study is to: 1. Evaluate whether immediate or delayed reconstruction should be offered for breast reconstruction candidates with higher risk for surgical complications by comparing complications, quality of life, and hospital costs 2. Determine the efficacy of risk reduction strategies for breast reconstruction patients with higher risk for surgical complications
This phase I trial studies the best dose and side effects of tazemetostat in treating patients with solid tumors or B-cell lymphomas with liver dysfunction that have spread to other places in the body or cannot be removed by surgery. Tazemetostat may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
The goal of this clinical research study is to learn if daratumumab can help to control B- or T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). The safety of daratumumab will also be studied. This is an investigational study. Daratumumab is FDA approved and commercially available for treatment of multiple myeloma. It is considered investigational to use daratumumab to treat ALL. The study doctor can explain how the study drug is designed to work. Up to 72 participants will be enrolled in this study. All will take part at MD Anderson.
The goal of this clinical research study is to find the highest tolerable dose of TAK228 that can be given in combination with brentuximab vedotin in patients with lymphoma. The safety of this combination will also be studied. This is an investigational study. TAK228 is not FDA approved or commercially available. It is currently being used for research purposes only. Brentuximab vedotin is FDA approved and commercially available for the treatment of different types of lymphoma. The study doctor can explain how the study drugs are designed to work. Up to 18 participants will be enrolled in this study. All will take part at MD Anderson.
The goal of this clinical research study is to learn if probiotics found in yogurt can help to decrease gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms in cancer patients. Probiotics are live bacteria and yeast that help with many of our functions and may help digestive problems. Researchers also want to learn if the bacteria in your stool change as your symptoms change while eating yogurt.
