View clinical trials related to Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2.
Filter by:This project was a facility-based program intervention for People Living with HIV (PLHIV) aged 18 years and above who attended a Care and Treatment Center (CTC) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Clients received preventive, diagnostic, and treatment services for Hypertension (HTN) and Type Two Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). The primary health outcomes were all-cause mortality, disease-specific morbidity, HTN, and T2DM control rates. Secondary outcomes included access to care, retention in care adherence, and quality of care. Results obtained can be used to strengthen Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) care delivery in HIV/AIDS care in CTC in Tanzania.
This is the first phase 3 randomized, double-blind, placebo/active-controlled clinical study to evaluate the efficacy and long-term safety of SAL067 in treatment-naive T2DM patients uncontrolled with diet and exercise intervention, comprising 24 weeks of double-blind treatment period followed by an open-label treatment period, making up a total of 52 weeks.
The primary aim of this clinical study is to find signal characteristics of VOCs detected by Sokru device during fasting, insulin injection and after glucose intake and to find the association with blood glucose variation in variant states of glycemia and hypoglycemia.
Open-source artificial pancreas system has been applied in clinical settings abroad for several years, and its safety and effectiveness has been reported by many literature. However, there is no reporting of its clinical application in China. Taking the inpatients with diabetes in the Department of Endocrinology as the starting point of research, participants would like to explore the safety and efficacy of open source artificial pancreas system in domestic clinical application, further to promote the development and landing of artificial pancreas technology in China, and finally to provide better treatment options for the majority of diabetes patients in China.
The goal of this randomized, double-blind, cross-over inverventional study is to evaluate the efficacy of white kidney bean on OGTT (oral glucose tolerance test). About 34 eligible participants will be randomized in two groups of the same size to take the assigned interventions at one study site in Shanghai, two visits will be required. The first group of participants will take Wonderlab product first and then placebo product after 72 hours of washout period, while the other group of of participants will take placebo product first and then Wonderlab product after 72 hours of washout period. For each visit, the finger blood will be sampled and the relevent data such as blood glucose will be captured based on OGTT procedures, and recorded into clinical data management system for statistical analysis. Researchers will compare the two groups to see if there is significant change of blood glucose by using products containing ingredient of white kidney beans.
This is a phase 1, single dose, randomised, double-blind, two-way crossover study to compare ultra-rapid-acting concentrated insulin aspart AT278 (U500/mL) with standard insulin aspart NovoRapid® (U100/mL) in participants with T2D. Participants and Investigators will be blinded to both study interventions. Humulin® R U-500 (U500/mL), a highly concentrated regular human insulin, will be used as an open-label comparator.
The objective of the study is to compare the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics between HR011408 and NovoRapid® in healthy subject.
This quasi-experimental study aims to determine the effectiveness of a health intervention (Chance2Act) on behaviour change to act for weight loss among overweight/obese type 2 diabetes adults. The main question it aims to answer is: - Is the new health intervention (Chance2Act) effective in changing overweight/obese type 2 diabetes adults from not being ready to act, to take action to lose weight?
This research aims to evaluate the potential benefit of an oral nutritional supplement based on Anthocran phytosome compared to placebo on the prevention of urinary infections, including microbiota analyzes, in postmenopausal women (> 70 years) with diabetes. For each subject enrolled, all parameters relating to urinary infections will be assessed at the beginning (baseline), every 2 months from the start of treatment and at the end of treatment (6 months), with urine analysis and quality of life questionnaires.
To study the effect of atorvastatin treatment on vascular uptake of 68Ga-DOTATATE in patients with Type 2 Diabetes.
