This research study is trying to determine the safety and efficacy of the combination of two oral drugs, abemaciclib and darolutamide, with androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) in the treatment of metastatic, non-metastatic, and advanced prostate cancers. The first phase of the study is to establish a recommended dose for the second phase. The names of the study drugs and interventions involved in this study are: - Darolutamide - Abemaciclib - Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) - this includes several different treatments, including Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH) antagonists and agonists It is expected that about 93 people will take part in the research study. Treatment is expected to last 6 months with a follow up period of up to 4.5 years.
A phase 2 study to assess the efficacy of bimagrumab alone or in addition to semaglutide to assess efficacy and safety in overweight or obese men and women
This is a multi-center, parallel, double-blind, randomized controlled clinical trial. Children <12 months of age hospitalized with bronchiolitis are randomized 1:1 to receive a 24-week home intervention with filtration units containing HEPA and carbon filters (in the child's sleep space and a common room) to improve indoor air quality (IAQ) or to a control group with filtration units without HEPA and carbon filters. The HEPA intervention units and control units will be used for 24 weeks after pre-intervention IAQ measurements. Children are followed for respiratory outcomes over the pre-intervention and intervention periods.
The purpose of this research is to determine the preferred microbubble agent (Lumason®, Optison®, and Definity®) for lymphatic channel visualization by ultrasound. This research will also evaluate the utility of preoperative high-frequency B-mode ultrasound with contrast-enhanced ultrasound for presurgical planning, and ultrasound shear wave elastography for assessing treatment response at 6-month follow up.
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about the kinetic of methemoglobin in healthy subjects breathing high dose inhaled nitric oxide. The main questions it aims to answer are: - What are the kinetics of methemoglobin formation at a maximum of 300 parts per million of nitric oxide and oxygen - What are the kinetics of methemoglobin reduction after nitric oxide discontinuation Participants will be exposed to intermittent high dose inhaled nitric oxide at a maximum of 300 parts per million while being continuously monitored.

The primary objective of this study is to test the safety and mental health benefits of a guided exercise program for people who survived an acute aortic dissection. This study is designed to answer several questions: 1. Can supervised exercise improve confidence and mental health in dissection survivors?; 2. How safe are different types of exercise for people who are living with severe aortic disease?; 3. Can tests be developed to determine rational and safe limits to guide exercise recommendations for individual patients?; 4. Does the blood pressure response to exercise predict risks for aortic enlargement or dissection in unique ways that other tests may not detect? The long-term goal of this research is to develop new guidelines for exercise and daily activities that promote the safety and well-being of all TAD patients. All participants will be required to: - Complete online questionnaires (demographic survey, 2009 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance Survey, the Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System 29 (PROMIS-29) v2.0 profile questionnaire) - Exercise (>150 minutes/week) - Receive all usual clinically indicated care, including diagnostic tests and medications. Recommendations for tests or interventions will not change based on the assigned study arm. Participants who are randomized to guided exercise group will undergo initial training that consists of: one video demonstration, one exercise training session or group session, one follow up home visit, and virtual check-ins. Participants who are randomized to usual care will attend routine clinic visits but will not receive any teaching or supervision and will not participate in any in-person or virtual exercise sessions. Instead, they will receive standardized counseling about exercise, including an exercise pamphlet that is given to all TAD patients.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effect of olezarsen on percent change in fasting triglyceride (TG) levels compared to placebo in participants with hypertriglyceridemia and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, or with severe hypertriglyceridemia.
The proposed project seeks to use public health and clinical data on opioid use disorders (OUD) outcomes for mother and infants, which is the leading cause of death to mothers one year after deliver and can lead to neonatal withdrawal syndrome (NOWS) and other poor outcomes. Insufficient or incomplete data about OUD and lack of integrated programs for OUD treatment during pregnancy can be barriers to providing optimal care to mothers and infants.
The primary goal is to understand the potential impacts of Guaranteed Income (GI) on Black youth and young adults' financial, emotional, and physical well-being. The main question it aims to answer is: What are the impacts of GI on Black young adults' investments in their future, mental health and unmet mental and sexual/reproductive health service needs? Participants will receive guaranteed income for 12 months and will be offered enrollment in financial capability programs.
