Recent data suggests that increased temperature improves inotropic function during systole and may improve diastolic function in healthy humans at rest, despite a reduction in left ventricular volume at end diastole. The effect of heat stress has not been reported in patients receiving general anesthesia and the impact of general anesthesia on these findings is not known. Trans-esophageal echocardiography will be used to measure parameters important to both systolic and diastolic function at temperature intervals of 1°C in patients undergoing "Heated Intraoperative Peritoneal Chemotherapy" (HIPEC.) That general anesthesia will not alter the cardiovascular effects of increased temperature that has been reported in healthy, un-anesthetized humans is the hypothesis.
Up to 40 participants will be enrolled in this study in order to obtain complete data on 30 participants. The investigators will be assessing if Augmented reality in combination with treadmill training is safe and feasible to use in the clinical environment with participants who have chronic TBI and if there is a signal of effect that this intervention may be more beneficial than treadmill training alone or standard of care.
The purpose of this study is to test the relevance, satisfaction and ease-of-use of an online mindfulness intervention among stroke survivors and their caregivers. Quality of life, depression, anxiety, stress and sleep quality will be assessed before, after and at 1 month after the intervention. After the intervention, participants' feedback about the usability and the satisfaction with the intervention and the online program will be gathered. Based on participants' feedback, changes to the intervention will be made to obtain a final version.

Misdiagnosis of neurological conditions is common in healthcare settings, sometimes with devastating consequences. Most diagnostic errors result from failures in bedside diagnostic reasoning. Dizziness is a symptom that is common, costly, and frequently associated with missed stroke. Too often healthcare providers have misconceptions about diagnostic approaches to dizziness. Current systems of medical education, residency training, and licensure requirements have proven insufficient to prevent harms from diagnostic error. Traditional lectures do not change physician behavior but active learning strategies with the use of simulation do. The investigators built and hope to expand a simulation-based curriculum to improve diagnosis of dizziness (SIDD) that will mirror real-world encounters and clinical practice. Using the tenets of deliberate practice with rapid, real-time feedback, the investigators hope to improve the approach to dizziness of healthcare providers and correct knowledge deficits that contribute to diagnostic errors. Investigators have chosen dizziness as the "model symptom" for this study. Future plans include expanding this approach to other symptoms that are also common, costly, and associated with a high misdiagnosis rate (e.g. abdominal pain, dyspnea, or chest pain).

The main objective of this single arm study is to evaluate the safety and feasibility of the AXS Infinity LS (Stryker, Freemont, CA, USA) and AXS Infinity LS Plus (Stryker, Freemont, CA, USA) catheters during the transradial approach through a secondary use of the data collected during neurointerventional procedures. This includes evaluating the conversion rates to a transfemoral approach. A secondary aim of the study is to assess the radial artery occlusion rates post procedure.

Chronic pain, of which migraine is among the most common, affects 100 million US adults and costs between $560 to $635 billion dollars annually. There is a need for effective, low-cost non-pharmacological strategies to reduce migraine load in migraineurs (based on International Headache Society classification International Classification of Headache Disorders [ICHD]-3; experience headache [migraine-like or tension-type-like] on 15+ days/month for 3+ months, and have migraine headaches [either with aura or without aura] on 8+ days/month). This represents an area of interest, as common migraine medications induce central nervous system side-effects including aphasia, ataxia, somnolescence, and vertigo; and 79% of suffers have an interest in trying novel treatment strategies with lower adverse effects than medications. Exercise has been shown to be a non-pharmacological intervention to reduce migraine burden. However, how environmental (i.e. - time-of-day, exposure to nature) and genetic factors (i.e. - polymorphisms in circadian and migraine associated genes) impact the laudatory effects of exercise remains unknown. There are independently established heritable components to migraine frequency (65%), circadian rhythm (70%), and aerobic power during exercise (66%). Thus, the central hypothesis is that an optimal environment can improve the exercise-induced reduction in migraine load, which is influenced by genetic heritability of migraine related gene polymorphisms.
