A multi-center, prospective, observational, non-interventional single arm, study of the intermediate-term clinical outcomes collected from electronic health records of high-risk patients which have previously undergone standard of care prophylactic Impella support for a non-emergent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
Hemodynamic optimization of critically ill patients is a goal for clinicians in order to afford the patient the best possible outcomes. Being able to precisely and rapidly determine patient fluid responsiveness provides the bedside physician and nursing staff the information needed to make critical decisions in regards to the patient's fluid status and management of additional fluids and medications. As fluid management and cardiac output determination are linked to better decision-making and improved outcomes in ICU, the use of a dynamic assessment of fluid responsiveness becomes a key tool for patient management. This study is designed to collect treatment and outcome data on patients that have undergone hemodynamic monitoring in a wide variety of clinical settings, involving a variety of patient diagnoses.
This is a randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, placebo- and active-controlled 4 period, 4 way crossover study to assess the intranasal abuse potential of manipulated ADAIR formulation in nondependent, recreational stimulant users. The study will consist of an outpatient Screening Visit, an in clinic Qualification Phase, an in-clinic Treatment Phase, and an outpatient Follow-Up visit.
This pilot study aims to test whether remote delivery of the exercise intervention provides a sufficient training stimulus. This pilot study will be remote and online-only, and will have no in-person interaction, data collection or intervention. 20 Participants will participate in a 12-wk, 3hrs/wk remote exercise intervention and in a pre- and a posttest remote testing session. We will use Zoom for all testing and exercise sessions.
Treatment with paclitaxel-based endovascular devices (PED) has become a common treatment option for patients with peripheral artery disease (PAD) involving the femoral-popliteal artery. However, an aggregate level meta-analysis identified an association between the use of PED and increased all-cause mortality at both two and five-year follow-up intervals, though there are significant limitations of these analyses. Exploration of real-world data has been suggested as a means to further investigate the safety of PED. The current study explores the association of PED and mortality in real-world data using U.S. commercial claims from the FAIR Health data warehouse.
The purpose for this study is to see if the study drug, LY3484356, is safe and to determine what effects it has on breast cancer in participants with Estrogen Receptor Positive (ER+), HER2 Negative (HER2-) early stage (stage I-III) breast cancer, when given prior to surgery. Participation in this study could last up to 2.5 months.
The primary purpose of the study is to determine whether lemborexant increases the apnea hypopnea index (AHI) on Day 8 of treatment in adult and elderly participants (adults greater than or equal to [>=] 45 to less than [<] 65 years; elderly >=65 to 90 years) with moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) compared with placebo, and using pulse oximetry determine whether lemborexant decreases the peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2) during total sleep time (TST) on Day 8 of treatment in adult and elderly participants (adults >=45 to <65 years; elderly >=65 to 90 years) with moderate to severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) compared with placebo.
