A Study of Multiple Immunotherapy-Based Treatment Combinations in Hormone Receptor (HR)-Positive Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2)-Negative Breast Cancer

This study is designed to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics of several immunotherapy-based combination treatments in participants with inoperable locally advanced or metastatic HR-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer who have progressed during or following treatment with a cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) 4/6 inhibitor in the first- or second-line setting, such as palbociclib, ribociclib, or abemaciclib. The study will be performed in two stages. During Stage 1, participants will be randomized to fulvestrant (control) or an atezolizumab-containing doublet or triplet combination. Those who experience disease progression, loss of clinical benefit, or unacceptable toxicity may be eligible to receive a new triplet combination treatment in Stage 2 until loss of clinical benefit or unacceptable toxicity. New treatment arms may be added and/or existing treatment arms may be closed during the course of the study on the basis of ongoing clinical efficacy and safety as well as the current treatments available.

Defined Green Tea Catechin Extract in Preventing Liver Cancer in Participants With Cirrhosis

This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of defined green tea catechin extract and to see how well it works in preventing liver cancer in participants with cirrhosis. Higher levels of the molecule gamma-OHPdG may be found in participants with cirrhosis, which may mean a higher risk of the development of liver cancer. Defined green tea catechin extract may work better to lower levels of gamma-OHPdG and prevent the development of liver cancer.

Study of Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) in Combination With Romidepsin

This phase I/II trial studies the side effects of pembrolizumab and romidepsin and to see how well they work in treating participants with peripheral T-cell lymphoma that has come back or that does not respond to treatment. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Romidepsin may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving pembrolizumab and romidepsin may work better than pembrolizumab alone in treating participants with recurrent or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma.

Comprehensive approaches that combine sun protection policy and education for outdoor workers can reduce their risk for skin cancer by reducing their exposure to solar ultraviolet radiation on the job. To effectively disseminate the investigators' evidence-based sun protection policy and education intervention, Sun Safe Workplaces, a balance of effectiveness and cost of scale-up methods is required. The investigators propose to translate the intervention using a technology-based delivery method and compare the cost effectiveness of the original intervention and the intervention delivered by technology in a study that models national distribution strategies to public safety and public works sectors.

Modified Atkins diet is a diet that produces ketones in your blood by restricting carbohydrates to <20 grams per day. Ketones are substances that are produced in the blood when fat is being broken down. Ketones may help radiation work better and may starve your tumor because it is thought that some brain tumors can not use ketones to grow and can only use sugar or glucose to grow.
