The investigators will test the effects of 10-60mg dronabinol (oral THC) on sleep in non-frequent and frequent cannabis users.
This is a window-of-opportunity trial to determine if atorvastatin given for 1 to 4 weeks at a dose of 80 milligrams per day (mg/day) is sufficient to decrease the level of conformational mutant tumor protein 53 (p53) in malignant diseases (solid tumor and relapsed Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)).
This phase II trial studies how well multi-peptide CMV-modified vaccinia Ankara (CMV-MVA Triplex) vaccination of stem cell donors works in preventing cytomegalovirus (CMV) viremia in participants with blood cancer undergoing donor stem cell transplant. Giving a vaccine to the donors may boost the recipient's immunity to this virus and reduce the chance of CMV disease after transplant.
Focused ultrasound for Essential Tremor is an FDA approved treatment performed by neurosurgeons at the Ohio State Center for Neuromodulation that utilizes ultrasound technology to create a lesion in the thalamus of Essential Tremor patients. In order to improve long term effectiveness and reduce potential for side effects, brain imaging may be used to examine the functional connectivity of certain brain networks during the procedure. In order to investigate functional connectivity changes with these long term goals in mind, in this study neuroimaging will be taken immediately before, immediately after, and 24 hours after the focused ultrasound procedure for 10 Essential Tremor patients. One series of neuroimaging will also be conducted for 20 healthy control subjects to serve as a comparison. This study will not introduce any risks above standard of care, and may lead to improved long term outcomes of patients undergoing the Focused Ultrasound procedure.
Primary Objective: - To evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability of dupilumab in pediatric patients with asthma who participated in a previous dupilumab asthma clinical study. - To evaluate the efficacy of dupilumab in children of 6 to <12 years of age with uncontrolled persistent asthma in the Japan sub-study. This study is a multi-center, Phase I/II, single arm trial to assess the safety and efficacy of the combination of oral rucaparib plus intravenous pembrolizumab as maintenance therapy in patients with stage IV non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) without progressive disease (PD), as confirmed on CT scans, after induction therapy with carboplatin/pemetrexed/pembrolizumab (CPP) triplet therapy.
Bladder dysfunction is one of the most important factors influencing duration and quality of life in children with spinal cord injury. Effective bladder control comprises a major aspect of a child's life with SCI and is especially challenging due to the rapid changes in a child's physical and cognitive development. Urological consequences secondary to a neurogenic bladder are responsible for many clinical complications post-spinal cord injury, including repeated urinary tract infections, autonomic dysreflexia, lifelong urologic care, and many hospitalizations. Alternative approaches to bladder management that focus on recovery of function and age-appropriate independence are needed. Prior research findings in our lab in adult participants indicate a benefit of locomotor training on bladder function. The purpose of this study is to determine with quantitative unbiased urodynamic outcome measures if locomotor training, provided to children with spinal cord injury, impacts the developing urinary system.
This study employs a Sequential Multiple Assignment Randomized Trial (SMART) and aims to determine the most effective adaptive intervention combining four efficacious treatments (enhanced physical activity monitor, motivational text messages, motivational personal calls, group meetings) to increase physical activity and improve cardiovascular health among sedentary employed women.
