Renal insufficiency is common in participants with blood cancers. The main objective of this study is to evaluate adverse events and movement of oral venetoclax tablets through the body of female participants with severe normal renal function and those with end stage renal disease (ESRD) requiring hemodialysis. Venetoclax is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of various hematologic malignancies. Study doctors put the participants in 1 of 2 groups, called treatment arms. Each group receives a different treatment. Approximately 12 female participants between 18 and 75 years, with Body Mass Index (BMI) between 18 to 42 kg/m2 will be enrolled in approximately 4 sites across the world. Participants with normal renal function will receive single dose of oral venetoclax tablet. Participants with ESRD will receive oral venetoclax tablets just prior to hemodialysis (Period 1 Day 1) and between dialysis days (Period 2 Day 1), doses in the two periods will be separated by at least 7 days. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, blood and urine tests, checking for side effects.

The purpose of this study is to develop and evaluate the feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary evidence of potential efficacy of a social-media based intervention to reduce risk factors for eating disorders in college women.
This is a pilot study conducted at the Bronx MWCCS Clinical Research Site in the Bronx, NY. We will recruit 60 individuals with coexisting asthma and/or Type 2 DM from this cohort. During the 3 month study period, these 60 participants will receive a comprehensive mobile health (mHealth) app, WELLXcel which includes: 1) guideline-based asthma and diabetes education delivered through interactive features such as animated videos and tailored push notifications; 2) the collection of PRO measures to enable patients symptom self-tracking. During this study, we will evaluate the association between baseline digital health literacy and favorable clinical outcomes related to the WELLXcel study intervention.
The goal of this study is to modify the evidence-based Body Project intervention to more powerfully target weight and shape concern among women with BMI between 25-40 using exploratory sequential mixed methodology (using both quantitative and focus group data). Initial modifications to the intervention will be made to incorporate content targeting weight stigma and to ensure the materials are developmentally appropriate for adult women. Then a small group (n=5-10) of women with high weight and shape concern will receive the 4 week body project intervention; we will collect pre-post questionnaire data on weight and shape concern, thin ideal and weight stigma, and use ecological momentary assessment to examine in-the-moment thoughts about weight and shape. The body project intervention will then be revised using this information in combination with participant feedback elicited during a focus group session. The next iteration of the intervention will then be tested in another small group of n=5-10; it is estimated that it will take 4-6 iterations to achieve a more robust intervention program that is acceptable to the target sample. Subgroups (race/ethnicity, BMI class) will be evaluated to ensure suitability across groups.
This is a feasibility study at a single site, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Patients who have undergone heart transplantation who meet eligibility requirements will be approached to participate in the study. The purpose of this study is to establish a reliable, home-based method for collecting samples as well as a standardized method for use of small-volume samples on both inpatients and outpatients.
There is growing concern for the resulting neurological and physiological outcomes from repeated head impacts in sports that do not manifest into traditional concussion symptoms. Specifically, there is evidence of immediate physiological deficits following controlled soccer heading. This study will compare the physiological changes of adolescents completing a set of soccer headers to those randomized to a set of soccer kicks to evaluate the effect of repetitive head impacts.
The purpose of this research is to understand the impact of medically tailored meals on health-related biometrics (e.g., glucose time-in-range, waist-hip ratio, cholesterol) and how providing medically tailored meals promotes engagement in diabetes education and drives information-seeking behavior.
The study will assess whether Niagen, a safe dietary supplement, improves recovery of COVID-19 related symptoms in individuals who were infected at least 2 months prior to study entry ("Long-COVID" "Long-haulers"). 60% of participants will receive Niagen and 40% will receive PBO. Outcomes will consist of standardized cognitive, neuropsychiatric, physical, functional and biomarker assessments.
