There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
A Phase 2b, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study Evaluating the Efficacy and Safety of Miricorilant in Adult Patients with Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis (MONARCH)
The purpose of this study is to find out if performing additional Magnetic Resonance Image (MRI) scans of the subjects' brain during each week of the radiation treatment of their high-grade glioma will help improve the radiation treatment.
The goal of this clinical trial is to assess the efficacy of REACH Firearm Safety in a sample of pediatric residents. The main question it aims to answer are: Do residents who have completed REACH Firearm Safety have increased documentation in the electronic medical records for screening and counseling for safe firearm storage? Participants will be asked to engage in a virtual reality curriculum (REACH Firearm Safety). Researchers will compare the REACH Firearm safety group to a group of participants who complete an abbreviated online training.
Scientific knowledge of the cognitive-developmental processes that serve to support children's appetite self-regulation are surprisingly limited. This investigation will provide new scientific directions for obesity prevention by elucidating cognitive-developmental influences on young children's ability to make healthy food choices and eat in moderation.
In order to assess the efficacy of the rhythm stabilization component of Health Rhythms' product in addressing sleep problems, investigators will recruit 128 outpatients over the age of 18, who are in early recovery (at least 2 weeks but no more than 6 months) from Alcohol Use Disorder (AUDIT-C score >4) and are experiencing sleep problems (ISI score >/= 10). 64 of these individuals will be randomly allocated to receive the full HealthRhythms package (sensing, trending, and stabilization) on their smartphones, while 64 will be asked to consent to sensing only. The duration of the study will be 14 weeks. The primary outcome measures of the RCT will be the ISI (Insomnia Severity Index). The investigators hypothesize that those receiving the full package will demonstrate lower levels of sleep disturbance.
The International Post-Stroke Epilepsy Research Repository (IPSERR): The study aims to collate and categorize data reported by post-stroke epilepsy (PSE) researchers and lodge it within the IPSERR. Using the IPSERR database, we will conduct two individual patient data (IPD) analyses: (1) determine epilepsy, functional, and cognitive outcomes in stroke patients who develop post-stroke seizure and (2) build and validate post-stroke epilepsy prediction model and compare performance against existing models.
This study will provide insight into whether cardiac function changes with oral Ketone Esters (KE) administered to patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) and Heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). Plasma ketones are avidly extracted by cardiac muscle and their uptake is not dependent upon insulin or influenced by insulin resistance.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of Losartan use post-operatively for reducing or preventing the development of arthrofibrosis and the associated adverse impacts on clinical outcomes.
This Phase 1 first-in-human study will investigate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), immunogenicity, and preliminary antitumor activity of JZP898 monotherapy as well as JZP898 in combination with pembrolizumab in adult participants with advanced or metastatic solid tumors.
The purpose of this study is to understand how patients feel about the use of computer programs to create responses when they send electronic messages to their doctors.
