There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
For this proposed Phase III study, unfavorable intermediate risk prostate cancer patients will be randomized to receive 6 months of Androgen Deprivation Therapy (ADT) in conjunction with stereotactic body radiation therapy/radiosurgery (SBRT) directed to the prostate versus SBRT alone. The patient population will include those with National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN)-defined unfavorable intermediate risk disease. All patients will be followed every 6 months for up to 5 years from the first patient randomized and will undergo a routine 24-30 months post-SBRT prostate biopsy to assess for local tumor control.
A study to identify patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis - Associated Interstitial Lung Disease (RA-ILD) that are at the highest risk for progression. The goal of the investigators is to recruit a group of patients with RA-ILD and collect information to help us understand more about disease progression. The investigators will do this using a combination of clinical, radiologic, and biologic features.
A Decentralized, Double-blinded, Randomized, 18 month, Parallel-group, Superiority Study to evaluate the impact of Complement Theory's Live 1:1 Exercise Coaching and Personalized Digital Application on Cancer Survivors' Cost of Care
This research study will enroll people who have cancer in their abdomen or pelvis that was treated previously with radiation therapy. The purpose of this research study is to test the safety and possible harms of treating tumors in these regions with another round of radiation therapy, called reirradiation or "reRT." The researchers want to find out what effects (good and bad) reRT has in people with cancer in the abdomen and pelvis.
The goals of the proposed research are to first determine the minimal and/or optimal dose of a digital intervention required for cognitive enhancement, and then to examine the impact of several potential moderators of treatment effects (i.e., cognitive decline, AD polygenic hazard score, cardiovascular risk, and race/ethnicity). This knowledge gained from his high-impact study with transform the field of cognitive interventions, paving the way for a precision medicine model for cognitive enhancing interventions that improve quality of life for older adults and individuals with cognitive deficits at risk of developing dementia.
INTACT will utilize a group-randomized trial, to test the effectiveness of a culturally informed provider training and "dementia friendly clinic" intervention for detection and appropriate management of AI/AN patients with ADRD and MCI in 28 urban and rural clinics serving AI/ANs.
The purpose of this study is to work with patients diagnosed with end-stage liver disease to understand their perspectives on the Health at Home (H@H) Program, including desired outcomes and expectations, perceived barriers, and drivers. H@H is an emerging model of home-based care, designed to extend traditional, inpatient hospital care which may address these needs. Through H@H, acute medical care services as well as ancillary care such as rehabilitation therapy can be delivered in the home. The study is divided into three phases: Phase 1 occurs while the participant is an inpatient. Phase 2 is when the actual H@H program takes place as part of the participant's clinical care. The study team will not be involved in the Phase 2 - H@H program as it will be conducted by the clinical staff. Phase 3, at which point the participant enters a rehabilitation phase to transition the patient to self-management, involves a research jam session with the participant and caregiver to assess the value of the program.
This clinical trial evaluates earlier symptom management through remote electronic symptom monitoring (such as through an app on patient's phone), and accessibility of palliative care self-referral by patients with thoracic cancer and caregivers by proxy (legal representative). Thoracic cancer occurs in the chest and often causes symptoms for patients. Patients and/or their caregivers are often unable to attend in-person clinic visits for various reasons. The most frequently reported symptom by patients at initial palliative care consultations is pain, and caregivers' most common concerns are pain management for the patient, stress reduction, and fears about patient decline. Earlier palliative care referral can help control these symptoms before they worsen, providing a better quality of life for patients and caregivers. improve physical and emotional functioning for patients and caregivers in cancer care. This study may help researchers learn how an electronic symptom monitoring program may provide an earlier and more accessible way for patients with thoracic cancer to receive palliative care.
A Randomized, Double-blind, Multi-center, Phase III Clinical Study of AK112 or Placebo Combined With Pemetrexed and Carboplatin in Patients With EGFR-mutant Locally Advanced or Metastatic Non-squamous Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Who Have Progressed on or Following Growth Factor Receptor Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor (EGFR-TKI) Treatment (HARMONi)
This is a two-part study that will evaluate the safety and efficacy of APG777 in participants with moderate-to-severe Atopic Dermatitis (AD). Part A will evaluate the safety and efficacy of one induction dose regimen of APG777 compared to placebo. In addition, two maintenance regimens will be evaluated in Part A. Part B will evaluate the benefit-risk of 3 dose regimens of APG777 compared to placebo. One maintenance regimen will be evaluated in Part B. The study duration for any individual participant will be up to 106 weeks which includes: screening, induction, maintenance, and post-treatment follow-up periods. Participants randomized in Part A are not permitted to participate in Part B.
