There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study is designed to evaluate the effect of heated humidified high flow nasal cannula (HHHFNC) as compared to noninvasive nasal continuous positive airway pressure (NCPAP) on lung function as a measure of lung injury in preterm infants born at 28 to 37 weeks gestation requiring continuing respiratory support.

With the improvement in CT scanners and injectors, diagnostic chest CT can now be performed in less than 10 seconds. It was hypothesized that diagnostic CT pulmonary angiograms could be done with less than the usual 80-120 ml of contrast used. We have developed a method of performing diagnostic CT pulmonary angiograms with 30 ml of intravenous contrast in most patients. The long-term objective of this study is to show that there is no difference in the diagnostic efficacy of this low dose 30 ml technique when compared to the more traditional full-dose technique.
This study will compare blood collection from the forearm using an investigational device, TAP20-C to blood collection from the finger tip. The blood collected from the forearm and from the fingertip will then be analyzed for glucose, hemoglobin and hemoglobin A1c.
It is well accepted that during critical illness there is an increase in protein breakdown and loss of lean body mass. Previous studies have shown that during critical illness muscle breakdown increases dramatically. The aim of our study is to test the hypothesis that critically ill patients have improved outcomes with higher protein supplementation.
Subjects will receive 30 treatments with AMES, to the proximal arm which has been affected by a chronic stroke.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and potential clinical benefit of lymphoablation followed by autologous HSCT rescue in therapy refractory Crohn's disease
