Liver transplantation is a lifesaving procedure; however, there are chances that the body may reject the organ following liver transplantation, and this remains a significant concern. This rejection of the transplanted, healthy liver tissue further adds to the patient's illness and also increases the related costs of treatment. Currently, liver biopsy is the standard procedure used for diagnosing this rejection. Being an invasive procedure (requiring the introduction of instruments into the body), this procedure also increases the chances of death of the patient. Researchers are looking into the identification of testing methods that can act as a sign of this rejection without requiring the introduction of instruments into the body. This type of testing could also allow for adjusting the doses of drugs given to the patient to decrease the chances of graft failure. A particular event that occurs during rejection in the body is the death of liver cells. Thus, tracking cell death using a blood test would be an important tool in assessing rejection. CK-18 is a protein in the liver cells that is thought to be linked to the changes occurring as a result of cell death. This study will be looking into a new idea of measuring CK-18 levels and compare them to an existing index to develop a reliable test for liver transplant rejection without introducing any instruments into the body. The purpose of this research study is to assess the history and collect blood samples to be tested for measuring CK-18 levels and assess certain other markers in the blood.
The purpose of this research study is to test the safety and to explore the effectiveness of infusing cytokine- induced memory-like (CIML) natural killer (NK) cells in combination with Interleukin-2 (IL-2) and standard-of-care venetoclax as a treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Names of the study therapies involved in this study are: - Lymphodepleting therapy with Fludarabine and Cyclophosphamide prior to CIML NK cell infusion - CIML NK (a cellular therapy) - IL-2 (a recombinant, human glycoprotein) - Venetoclax (a selective inhibitor of BCL-2 protein)

The purpose of this study is to learn about- for how long are NHTs taken by men to treat mCSPC. NHTs in this study include study medicines: - abiraterone, - apalutamide, - enzalutamide. Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men. The prostate is a gland in the male body that helps make semen. Metastatic cancer is a cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. Most prostate cancers need male hormones to grow. When cancer cells respond to treatment that lowers male hormones, this is known as castration-sensitive prostate cancer. This is a real-world study, not a clinical trial. This means that researchers will look at what happens when men receive the treatments prescribed by their own doctor as part of their usual healthcare treatment. In this study, researchers will use information from National Veteran's Affairs (VA) Health Care Network. The study will include patients' information from the database for men who: - were identified to have mCSPC. - started treatment with NHT for mCSPC. - were 18 years of age or older at start of NHT. Men in this study will be taking NHT for treatment of their mCSPC. The study will explain: - how long men take the therapy. - how long it takes to start next therapy. This study will use patient information about medications and treatments from VA data. This study will use information one year before start of NHT until information is available.

Stage 2 will evaluate the safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity of a single injection of VAX-31 at 3 dose levels compared to PCV20 in adults aged 50 years and older.
The purpose of this study is to obtain anonymous video clips of male semen at high magnification, to manually select out of the video spermatozoon images, and to manually classify their morphology by qualified embryologists based on the WHO Manual criteria in order to train the BAIBYS™ Fertility System. The study will enroll males attending the clinic who may elect to contribute their unused excess sample materials from semen analysis or IVF/ICSI (Intracytoplasmic sperm injection) which is a technique used during in vitro fertilization (IVF).
The main aim of this study is to investigate the ability of an experimental dentifrice containing 5 percent (%) potassium nitrate (KNO3), 1% alumina and 5% sodium tripolyphosphate (STP), to maintain tooth color and reduce extrinsic dental stain accumulation following peroxide tooth bleaching compared to a regular fluoride dentifrice.

Symptoms of menopause can significantly affect overall quality of life. It is hypothesized that probiotic supplements can reduce the severity of these symptoms. This 90-day randomized controlled trial will examine the effects of the Provitalize Natural Menopause Probiotic on weight loss, waist circumference, sleep, and symptoms of menopause including hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, anxiety, fatigue and brain fog. Participants will take either the test product or a placebo daily. All participants will complete study-specific questionnaires and provide sleep data from their Fitbit at Baseline, Day 30, Day 60 and Day 90. At Baseline, Day 30, Day 60 and and Day 90, participants will also provide a bodyweight measurement and a waist circumference measurement.
