NCT ID: NCT05583487 Completed - Clinical trials for Multidisciplinary Communication

Multidisciplinary Teamwork Perceptions When Mobilizing Ventilated Neurosurgery Patients

Start date: November 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this research study is to decide if using a nurse-led mobility protocol affects teamwork perceptions, when mobilizing ventilated neurosurgery patients. Participants will mobilize ventilated neurosurgery patients according to either facility standard procedures or a piloted nurse-led mobility protocol. Each selected patient will be mobilized once during his/her hospitalization for the purposes of this study. Patient mobility may take up to 1 hour. Following this, participating staff will be asked to complete a survey used to measure teamwork perceptions. Participants will be given up to 30 minutes to complete the survey. Total study duration is 3 months.

NCT ID: NCT05583019 Completed - Healthy Clinical Trials

Atopic Dermatitis With Accelerometry and Polysomnography (ADAP)

ADAP
Start date: October 27, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this research is to better understand how wrist-worn study devices that measure activity/motion ('accelerometry devices') can be used to assess scratching and sleep in participants aged 12-75 years, with and without Atopic Dermatitis (AD, eczema), in both a sleep laboratory (hotel) setting and in a daily life/home setting. In this study, we will be using three different wrist devices to collect information: an Apple Watch Series 7, an Actigraph CentrePoint Insights Watch (CPIW) and a GENEActiv Original Watch. We will also compare the movement and sleep measurements recorded on the devices to thermal video and sleep assessments done in the sleep laboratory (hotel) as well as compare them to Patient Reported Outcome (PRO) assessments.

NCT ID: NCT05582889 Completed - Cancer Survivors Clinical Trials

Move For Your Health for Older Cancer Survivors

Start date: November 4, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The Move for Your Health (MY Health) Pilot Study is a 12-week study for older cancer survivors to promote light physical activity. The home-based study (no travel required) will test whether a Fitbit activity tracker and health coaching can help cancer survivors be more active throughout the day.

NCT ID: NCT05582759 Completed - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Sleep Hygiene Education, ReadiWatchTM Actigraphy, and Telehealth Cognitive Behavioral Training for Insomnia Effect, on Symptom Relief for Men With Prostate Cancer Receiving Androgen Deprivation Therapy

SHERE-Relief 2
Start date: October 24, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Many treatments for prostate cancer can cause significant fatigue and/or problems with memory and concentration. Many treatments for prostate cancer also result in disturbed sleep. Improving sleep may reduce feelings of fatigue and improve memory and concentration. The purpose of this study is to test a wearable device that provides real-time feedback on sleep patterns, instruction on how to improve sleep, and a score that indicates periods of time when fatigue and issues with memory and concentration may be most troublesome. The study also is designed to test a type of treatment (cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia, CBT-I) that is helpful for people who are experiencing disturbed sleep.

NCT ID: NCT05582473 Completed - Dementia Caregivers Clinical Trials

Juntos/Together Program to Build Confidence for Complex Care Tasks Among Latino Family Caregivers

Start date: November 7, 2022

The overall goal of this study is to culturally adapt and test the effectiveness of Learning Skills Together (LST) in improving self-efficacy among Latino family caregivers. To address this overall goal, the study team propose the following aims: i) culturally adapt the LST intervention for Latino caregivers using a community-engaged approach; and ii) examine the effect of the LST intervention on Latino caregiver self-efficacy, depression, and well-being using a randomized wait-list control group.

NCT ID: NCT05582304 Completed - Visual Acuity Clinical Trials

Role of Glare and Spectral Filtering on Contrast Sensitivity: A Pilot Study

Start date: October 31, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This will be a split-plot design, randomized, parallel, double-masked feasibility study to evaluate the role of a test lens on contrast sensitivity with and without glare.

NCT ID: NCT05582096 Completed - Obesity Clinical Trials

A Study of LY3457263 in Obese Participants

Start date: November 11, 2022
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of LY3457263 when administered in combination with tirzepatitide in overweight or obese participants. The study will also evaluate how much of LY3457263 gets into the blood stream and how long it takes the body to remove it in overweight or obese participants. The study will last up to approximately 11 weeks.
