There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of the study is to assess the effectiveness of the SPG block with lidocaine vs. SPG block with placebo on preventing the need for EBP in women who develop PDPH after accidental dural puncture during placement of LEA for labor.
A prospective case series of 200 patients who have been treated with Bone Marrow Concentrate using anterior approach through posterior oropharynx for treating alar, accessory, and transverse injuries for patients with craniocervical junction instability.
The purpose of this study is to develop and validate the accuracy of a low-cost "point-of-care" test (POCT) that allows monitoring of markers for anticoagulation and thrombosis (local coagulation or clotting of the blood), to be used by patients with advanced heart failure (AHF) on left ventricular assist device (LVAD) support. The investigators central hypothesis is that the fully-printed AT-POCT utilizing low-cost (printed) cassettes and detector will produce an inexpensive and convenient option for daily self-monitoring of PT/INR and LDH over existing methods.
This is a randomized open-label phase 2 study to evaluate the efficacy and safety (as assessed by pCR) of the NANT Neoadjuvant TNBC Vaccine regimen (experimental arm) compared to the SoC dose-dense regimen of doxorubicin/cyclophosphamide followed by paclitaxel (control arm).
This is a Phase 1-2, randomized, multicenter, open label study of PLM60 administered via intravenous (IV) infusion in 28 day treatment cycles to adult participants with relapsed or refractory Peripheral T Cell Lymphoma (PTCL).
This pilot trial studies how well a novel oral therapeutic agent performs to treat patients with atopic dermatitis, particularly facial dermatitis.
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of recombinant EphB4-HSA fusion protein (sEphB4-HSA), and to see how well it works in treating participants with bladder cancer that has come back or that isn't responding to bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) vaccine treatment. sEphB4-HAS prevents tumor cells from multiplying and blocks several compounds that promote the growth of blood vessels that bring nutrients to the tumor. Giving sEphB4-HSA may work better in treating participants with bladder cancer.
Periprosthetic joint infection following total hip or knee arthroplasty is a rare but potentially devastating complication. Accurate diagnosis of these infections remains one of the most challenging undertakings in orthopaedics. Multiple studies have shown the high diagnostic accuracy of synovial fluid white blood cell count (WBC) and neutrophil percentage (%PMNs) in detecting PJI. This study's goal is to evaluate how antibiotics affect those two important diagnostic measures.
The Study Investigators intend to study the adherence to and effect of a prescribed, monitored at-home exercise regimen in a pregnant population at risk for gestational diabetes, with a specific goal of understanding factors relating to adoption and performance of regular, sustained physical activity.
My study will employ a convergent mixed methods two-arm parallel randomized controlled design. The qualitative strand will primarily rely on semi-structured interview procedures to answer the following questions: (1) How do adolescents perceive and experience the phenomenon of nonsuicidal self-injury (NSSI)? (2) What do adolescents believe needs to be done to address NSSI? The quantitative strand will primarily rely on clinical interview data, self-report measures, and an experimental task protocol to answer the following question: What is the impact of a brief mindfulness induction (versus a control condition) on self-injury attentional bias among self-injuring adolescents?
