There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Buzzy, shot-blocker, distraction cards, and balloon blowing can reduce fear and pain during the intramuscular intervention in the pediatric emergency service unit. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of virtual reality, manual pressure vibration technique, and cold vibration device application on procedure-related pain, fear, and anxiety during intramuscular antibiotics in children aged 5-12 years in the pediatric emergency department.
Aim:There is still not enough data to determine methylprednisolone treatment timing, dosage, duration of use and indication in Covid 19 pneumonia. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between drug dose and hospitalisation time and mortality rates in patients with pre-diagnosis of severe covid pneumonia and systemic methylprednisolone. Materials and Methods: The demographic data, symptom durations, thorax CT findings, methylprednisolone dose and duration of treatment, hospitalisation times, intensive care hospitalizations of the patients who were initiated and hospitalized in the emergency department will be retrospectively recorded. Finally, the fate of the patients (such as discharge, referral, death) will be recorded.Statistical analysis will be conducted using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) (IBM Corp. Released 2015. IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows, Version 21.0. Armonk, NY: IBM Corp.) program.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of Sodium Zirconium Cyclosilicate (SZC) on arrhythmia-related cardiovascular outcomes in participants on chronic hemodialysis with recurrent hyperkalemia.
This study is open to adults with schizophrenia. Schizophrenia can affect the way a person thinks, their memory and their mental functioning. Examples include struggling to remember things, or to read a book or pay attention to a movie. Some people have difficulty calculating the right change or planning a trip so that they arrive on time. The purpose of this study is to find out whether a medicine called Iclepertin improves learning and memory in people with schizophrenia. Participants are put into two groups randomly, which means by chance. One group takes Iclepertin tablets and the other group takes placebo tablets. Placebo tablets look like Iclepertin tablets but do not contain any medicine. Participants take a tablet once a day for 26 weeks. In addition, all participants take their normal medication for schizophrenia. During this time, doctors regularly test learning and memory of the participants by use of questionnaires, interviews, and computer tests. The results of the mental ability tests are compared between the groups. Participants are in the study for about 8 months and visit the study site about 14 times. During this time, doctors regularly check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects.
The purpose of this study is to translate and culturally adapt the quality of life profile for spinal deformities (QLPSD) to Turkish language and test the validity and reliability of Turkish version of QLPSD in patients with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis.
Recently, it has been stated that Smads play an active role in all conditions where transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) is involved, including periodontal inflammation. This study aimed to examine the levels of TGF-β and inhibitor Smads in saliva and gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) in patients with Stage 3 Grade B periodontitis before and after non-surgical periodontal treatment. Twenty (20) stage 3 grade B periodontitis and 20 periodontally healthy individuals were included in the study. Clinical periodontal measurements were recorded; periodontitis patients received non-surgical periodontal treatment, and GCF and saliva samples were obtained at baseline and one month after treatment. TGF-β, Smad6, and Smad7 were determined by ELISA.
Since the severe acute respiratory syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) first emerged in Wuhan, China, on 12 December 2019, it has spread rapidly across the world and developed into a pandemic. The pandemic has affected over 100 countries and regions, with over 132 million confirmed cases of COVID-19. The rapid spread of SARS-CoV-2 has caused considerable harm to public health and the economy. Alongside other laboratory tests and clinical findings of the COVID-19 infection, serological testing may be beneficial for epidemiological monitoring and outbreak control. The determination of antibodies enables confirmation of the SARS-CoV-2 infection in asymptomatic patients in addition to those with typical symptoms. In this study, we aimed to determine the SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalence and the IgG antibody levels among healthcare workers who frequently encountered COVID-19 patients in our hospital.
