Psychoeducation in Patients Who Diagnosed With Schizophrenia

People with schizophrenia are faced with social problems such as repeated hospitalizations, stigma with lack of social skills, unemployment, lack of necessary and adequate health care and education due to lack of adequate care in the community they live in. It is known that psychoeducation practices aimed at developing social skills in schizophrenia give patients new skills and these skills continue for many years. This study aimed to determine the effect of group psychoeducation that focused on social skill development on treatment adaptation, quality of life and well-being in schizophrenia patients and the interaction between these variables over time.

This is the open-label extension study of phase II ARGX-113-1802 to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of the subcutaneous formulation of efgartigimod in adults with CIDP. Patients already stabilized on efgartigimod PH20 SC will also have the opportunity to participate in a sub study to explore less frequent dosing of efgartigimod PH20 SC.

Two hundred consecutive unilateral inguinal hernia patients will be included in the study. Patients will be recorded by measuring the distance between the pubic tubercle and the deep inguinal ring, the distance between the inguinal ligament and the internal oblique aponeurosis, the distance between the deep and superficial inguinal ring diameters and their anterior superior iliac spine. The contribution of these measures to the determination of the ideal mesh size will be analyzed.

Few studies have revealed the physical activity levels and importance of children with ADHD, but there is no consensus on the components of the physical activity program such as intensity, frequency, and severity. The aim of the present study is to investigate the effect of combined exercise training on motor proficiency, physical fitness and cognitive status in children with ADHD.
