There are about 8563 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Sweden. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to study the effects of 8 weeks of treatment with mirtazapine on alcohol consumption in alcohol high consuming men. This study is a randomized, double-blind placebo controlled clinical trial with parallel group design(N=59).
Open-label, randomized, multi-centre study in which 400 subjects, divided into two groups, will receive Td5ap or Td1aP as a single injection. We will then describe the immune response and safety profile of the combined vaccine booster.
To obtain additional safety data in subjects who have previously completed the MBP8298-01 study "A Double Blind Placebo Controlled Multi-Centre to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of MBP8298 in Subjects with Secondary Multiple Sclerosis" Dirucotide is generic name for MBP8298.
The purpose of ENGAGE is to prospectively collect global 'real world' data on the Endurant Stent Graft System from AAA subjects.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether MBP8298 is effective and safe in the treatment secondary progressive multiple sclerosis. Dirucotide is generic name for MBP8298.
Objectives: - To find out if the chance of developing a serious illness or of getting AIDS is less if patients start taking HIV medicines at a time when their cluster-of-differentiation-4 (CD4)+ cell count is still fairly high, instead of waiting until the CD4+ count is at the level where there is good evidence for starting medicines. - To learn more about how a strategy of starting HIV medicines early might affect other aspects of care, such as the chances of developing other illnesses or resistance to HIV medicines, the frequency of doctor visits, the cost of medical care, and general health and satisfaction.
The aim of the present study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of MK-0683 in the treatment of PV and ET. This agent has most recently been shown to be a potent inhibitor of the autonomous proliferation of haematopoietic cells of PV and ET patients carrying the JAK2 V617F mutation. Accordingly, it may be anticipated that MK-0683 - by decreasing the JAK2 allele burden - may influence clonal myeloproliferation and in vivo granulocyte, platelet and endothelial activation , which are considered to be major determinants of morbidity and mortality ( thrombosis, bleeding, extramedullary haematopoiesis , myelofibrosis ) in these disorders. The effects of MK-0683 at the molecular level will be studied by global/ focused gene expression profiling, epigenome profiling and proteomics.
This was a study to determine whether therapy with pazopanib was effective and safe in women with epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer whose cancer had not progressed on first line chemotherapy.
This study is conducted to evaluate the safety and tolerability of the drug product sNN0031, containing Platelet Derived Growth Factor (PDGF), when administered directly into one of the fluid filled cavities in the brain using an implanted catheter and an implanted SynchroMed® II pump. Patients with a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease will be enrolled.
This is a phase I/II pediatric dose-ranging study that will evaluate the safety, tolerability, clinical response, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of midostaurin in patients <18 years of age who have relapsed or refractory acute leukemias that may benefit from administration of midostaurin, including MLL-rearranged ALL and FLT3 positive AML.
