There are about 8563 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Sweden. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The primary purpose of this study is to determine whether the treatment with AZD1981 will affect the metabolism of hormones included in oral contraceptives.
This study will be a double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel group study. After enrolment and initial assessments, subjects will receive 35 days of study medication. During this treatment period, they will be randomised to either oral GW856553 7.5mg BID or matching placebo in a 1:1 ratio. Sufficient numbers of subjects will be recruited to obtain 128 evaluable subjects.
The 5-milligram (mg) dose of prasugrel in low body weight (LBW) patients with coronary artery disease produces a pharmacodynamic response within the same therapeutic range as 10-mg dose in higher body weight (HBW) patients.
The 5-milligram (mg) maintenance dose (MD) of prasugrel in very elderly patients with coronary artery disease produces a pharmacodynamic response within the same therapeutic range as 10-mg MD in non-elderly patients.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of 2 different doses of canagliflozin compared with placebo in older patients (55 to 80 years of age) with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with inadequate control on their current diabetes treatment regimen.
To evaluate the safety and efficacy of Stribild®, a single tablet regimen (STR) containing fixed doses of elvitegravir (EVG)/cobicistat (COBI [GS-9350])/emtricitabine (FTC)/tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF) versus ritonavir-boosted atazanavir (ATV/r) plus the standard of care nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) backbone FTC/TDF (Truvada®). ATV/r + FTC/TDF was selected as the active comparator for this study as it is a preferred protease inhibitor-based regimen in guidelines for the treatment of HIV-1 infected, antiretroviral treatment-naive adults.
This study will evaluate how long it takes for ADHD symptoms to improve in subjects who are judged by the Investigator to have had an inadequate response to methylphenidate therapy. The study will also test the safety of Lisdexamfetamine Dimesylate and how well it works.
