There are about 13332 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Netherlands. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Patients with primary head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) planned for treatment with radiotherapy with or without chemotherapy in curative setting will be treated with an adaptive radiotherapy scheme. An FDG-PET/CT scan for re-delineation and re-planning will be made at the end of the second and fourth of week of radiotherapy. The non-responding part of the tumor on FDG-PET will receive a mild dose-escalation. Depending on the metabolic response, the entire tumor will receive 70 Gy or the residual FDG-avid area will receive 74 or 78 Gy.
Reducing intraoperative hypotension using FlotracIQ with HPI software.
This is a pre-and post intervention study on the effect and implementation of an personalized decision aid for woman with breast cancer who face a decision on their radiation treatment.
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of JNJ-63733657 following single ascending intravenous (IV) dose administration in healthy subjects (Part 1) and multiple ascending IV dose administrations in subjects with prodromal or mild Alzheimer's disease (AD) (Part 2).
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of pembrolizumab + epacadostat vs pembrolizumab + placebo as a treatment for recurrent or progressive metastatic urothelial carcinoma in patients who have failed a first-line platinum-containing chemotherapy regimen for advanced/metastatic disease.
The purpose of this study is to explore if the magnitude of treatment effect (JNJ-42847922; placebo) on symptoms of depression (as measured by Hamilton rating scale for depression-17 [HDRS17], Sleep item-adjusted HDRS17, Anxiety/somatization factor score and the 6-item subscale from HDRS17 [HAM-D6]) differs across different levels of hyper-arousal status (characterized by Sleep parameters, ruminative response scale [RRS], Sleep and Worry visual analogue scale [VAS], quantitative electro-encephalography [qEEG], heart rate variability [HRV] and others).
Efficacy and safety of LNP023 in IgAN patients
The purpose of this study is to assess the participants socio-demographics and disease-related characteristics, long-term naturalistic treatment patterns and the clinical, social and economic outcomes of routine clinical practice in the treatment of participants with treatment-resistant depression (TRD) in a variety of European countries.
Depression and obesity are very common among adolescents and young adults with attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). However, intervention programmes to prevent these comorbid disorders rarely exist. In a pilot randomized-controlled study we test two newly developed intervention programmes that do not involve medication: bright light therapy and physical exercise. Both interventions will be supported by a mobile Health application to monitor and feedback intervention success and booster patients' motivation.
This is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, sequential design, multicentre study in patients with moderately impaired systolic function undergoing CABG surgery. Twenty four (24) patients scheduled for elective bypass surgery will be randomized (up to approximately 33 patients if replacements are needed). The objective is to investigate safety and tolerability of AZD8601 following epicardial injection in patients undergoing Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) surgery with moderately impaired systolic function. At Visit 3 patients will receive either AZD8601 or placebo as epicardial injections and will then be followed up at 14 days (telephone visit) and 1, 3 and 6 months (on-site) post-surgery.
