There are about 13332 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Netherlands. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this migraine prevention study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of AST-726 in moderate to severe migraine patients at one of two doses compared to placebo and compared to a baseline period as measured by a reduction in the number of migraine days.
The purpose of this study is to determine if supervised exercise therapy in a physiotherapeutic setting, with or without therapy feedback, is more (cost-)effective than exercise therapy based on a 'go home and walk' advice without supervision, for patients with PAD stage II (Fontaine).
The cause of most interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) is still unknown. Further research, for example to determine predisposing genetic factors, is therefore needed. A database with relevant clinical data and DNA/serum samples of ILD patients could facilitate future research on the cause of ILDs.
This is a Phase III, multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled trial designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of bevacizumab in combination with chemotherapy compared with chemotherapy alone in subjects with previously untreated metastatic breast cancer.
The purpose of this study is to examine the degree of fatigue in patients receiving chemotherapy. Special interest goes out to the course of fatigue throughout five treatments and the actions taken by patients to reduce this fatigue. The correlation between fatigue and haemoglobin will also be subject of study.
The purpose of this study is to compare the functional outcome of two different total knee prostheses in a prospective randomised study.
Two major genetic pathways leading to colorectal carcinoma can well be distinguished; the 'suppressor pathway', which is characterized by inactivation of tumor-suppressor genes and the 'mutator pathway', which is characterized by microsatellite instability. The purpose of this study is to explore a third putative pathway; microsatellite and chromosome stable colorectal cancer where an alternative cancer-causative mechanism might play a role.
The purpose of this Phase 3 study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of 3APS as an add-on therapy to most standard medication for Alzheimer's disease compared to placebo (inactive substance pill) in patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease.
hypothesis: 10 Gy additional boost to the tumor bed will yield an increase in local control at 10 years from 88% to 93%, with still acceptable cosmesis.
The aim of this study is to answer the following independent questions in the treatment of mantle cell lymphomas: - Can rituximab-fludarabine, cyclophosphamide (R-FC) improve the reduction of lymphoma mass compared to rituximab-cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, prednisone (R-CHOP) and so become a new standard for initial cytoreductive therapy? - Can maintenance with rituximab substitute the interferon maintenance and even improve the progression free survival in patients after successful initial cytoreductive therapy?
