There are about 2118 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Malaysia. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The Phase 2 portion of this study evaluates the efficacy and safety of MRTX849 monotherapy and in combination with pembrolizumab in cohorts of patients with advanced NSCLC with KRAS G12C mutation and any PD-L1 TPS and who are candidates for first-line treatment. The Phase 3 portion of the study compares the efficacy of adagrasib in combination with pembrolizumab versus pembrolizumab in patients with unresectable, locally advanced or metastatic nonsquamous NSCLC with KRAS G12C mutation and PD-L1 TPS >=50% and who are candidates for first line treatment.
This research aimed to develop health module related to nutrition through mobile phone and to access it effectiveness among mother, infant and children (0-2 years old) to prevent stunting in Kelantan, Malaysia. Besides, to evaluate the effectiveness of intervention in reducing stress among pregnant and lactating women. The mobile health (mHealth) messaging interventions will be delivered via a mobile app known as WhatsApp and by a phone call. There will be a total of 50 messages for 6 months of intervention in which 2 messages will be delivered per week (every Tuesday & Thursday). The understanding of information will be evaluated 2 times per month by a phone call. The type of messages that will be used are text messages, voice messages, video/graphic messages, and voice calls. The assessment using a brief questionnaire and anthropometry measurement will be conducted during first and at the end of the intervention. The effectiveness and perceptions as well as experiences of mobile health intervention will also be assessed.
This study compares 2 medicines for type 2 diabetes: semaglutide (new medicine) and a dummy medicine (placebo). Semaglutide will be tested to see how well it works compared to the dummy medicine. The study will also test if semaglutide is safe in children and teenagers. Participants will either get semaglutide or the dummy medicine - which one is decided by chance. Participants will take 1 tablet of the study medicine every morning on an empty stomach. They have to wait 30 minutes before they eat, drink or take any other medication by mouth. The study will last for about 1 year and 3 months (66 weeks). Participants will have 12 clinic visits and 8 phone calls with the study doctor. At all 12 clinic visits, participants will have blood samples taken. Participants will also be asked some questions.
Bimaxillary dental proclination is the condition where the upper and lower dental arches are procline thus increase lip fullness. Since the aim of orthodontic treatment in bimaxillary proclination in to get flatten profile where the incisor inclinations are purposely reduced or interincisal angle are increased, therefore it is guarded for corrected dentition to maintain stable or not post orthodontic treatment. Therefore, this study is looking into evidence which is the best retainer to maintain stability of bimaxillary proclination cases following fixed appliances treatment.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the overall survival of participants treated with imetelstat compared to best available therapy with intermediate-2 or high-risk Myelofibrosis (MF) who are relapsed/refractory to Janus Kinase (JAK)-Inhibitor treatment.
Intrathecal morphine (ITM) has proven to be excellent in reducing postoperative pain. However, its use has commonly been associated with the occurrence of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV). In recent years, the combination therapy of antiemetics comprising of a serotonin receptor antagonist and corticosteroid has been implemented to diminish the occurrence of PONV. Despite being routinely used, the evidence in the efficacy of this combination in parturients are conflicting and lacking. In this study, we wish to compare the efficacy between the combination therapy of granisetron plus dexamethasone versus granisetron alone on the occurrence of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) in 126 parturients undergoing elective Caesarean delivery supplemented with intrathecal morphine.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability, of open label iptacopan in primary IgA nephropathy participants who have completed either the CLNP023X2203 or CLNP023A2301 clinical trials. The open-label design of the current study is appropriate to provide study participants the opportunity to receive treatment with iptacopan until marketing authorizations are received and the drug product becomes commercially available while enabling collection of long-term safety and tolerability data for the investigational drug. Furthermore efficacy assessments conducted every 6 months will afford the opportunity to evaluate the clinical effects of iptacopan on long-term disease progression.
This is a prospective observational single-center study in which the association of Protein-Energy Adequacy and 28-Days of Mortality among critically ill patients with Acute Kidney Injury, AKI will be investigated. The association of Protein-Energy adequacy with a length of ICU and hospital stay, total ventilator, and inotropic drug days among critically ill patients with AKI also will be investigated.

To evaluate the efficacy and safety of cariprazine at a target dose of 3.0 mg/d compared with placebo in prevention of relapse in patients with schizophrenia who were initially stabilized on a target dose of 4.5 mg/d
