NCT ID: NCT04255407 Completed - Pain Clinical Trials

Effect of Biophysical Stimulation on Intraspongious Bone Edema in Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction

Start date: November 20, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The following study has as main objective to evaluate whether the use of I-ONE® therapy can reduce post-operative pain thanks to the modulation of inflammation in patients with bone bruise on the knee after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury if applied 15 days before and 60 days after ACL reconstruction surgery for 4 hours a day compared to a control group (no-treatment). Both groups will be able to take anti-inflammatory drugs for pain control as per normal clinical practice. The secondary objective of the study are: quantify the reduction in the size of the bone bruise area, improving the level of knee function and the amount of anti-inflammatory drugs used in the aforementioned patients in the postoperative period compared to a control group.

NCT ID: NCT04255212 Completed - Muscle Strength Clinical Trials

Effects of Soft Tissue Treatment vs Mechanisms Explanation to Treat Delayed Onset Muscles Soreness Among Sport Climbers

Start date: January 13, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of the present research is to define the effects of short manual treatment of soft tissues compared to mechanisms explaining in Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS) among sport climbers and to address the mechanisms of peripheral and central sensitization involved in DOMS phenomena.

NCT ID: NCT04254978 Completed - Clinical trials for Essential Thrombocythemia

Study of Bomedemstat in Participants With Essential Thrombocythemia (IMG-7289-CTP-201/MK-3543-003)

Start date: September 8, 2020
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 2b open label study of an orally administered LSD1 inhibitor, Bomedemstat (MK-3543, formerly called IMG-7289), in patients with essential thrombocythemia. This study investigates the following: - The safety and tolerability of Bomedemstat - The pharmacodynamic effect of Bomedemstat

NCT ID: NCT04254705 Withdrawn - Cystic Fibrosis Clinical Trials

Organoid Study R334W

Start date: March 1, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In contrary to what is seen in FRT cells, rectal organoids of patients with a R334W mutation do respond to CFTR modulators ivacaftor and lumacaftor. The present study will investigate the response to modulators in organoids of 30 patients with CF and a R334W mutation, to allow further stratificaton for a future clinical trial assessing the clinical effect of ivacaftor/tezacaftor in patients with CF and a R334W mutation.

NCT ID: NCT04254107 Terminated - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

A Safety Study of SEA-TGT (SGN-TGT) in Advanced Cancer

Start date: May 29, 2020
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This trial will look at a drug called SEA-TGT (also known as SGN-TGT) to find out whether it is safe for patients with solid tumors and lymphomas. It will study SEA-TGT to find out what its side effects are. A side effect is anything the drug does besides treating cancer. It will also study whether SEA-TGT works to treat solid tumors and lymphomas. The study will have four parts. Part A of the study will find out how much SEA-TGT should be given to patients. Part B will use the dose found in Part A to find out how safe SEA-TGT is and if it works to treat solid tumors and lymphomas. Part C will study how well SEA-TGT with sasanlimab works to treat solid tumors. Part D will study how well SEA-TGT with brentuximab vedotin works to treat classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL).

NCT ID: NCT04253951 Recruiting - Cerebral Palsy Clinical Trials

Lung Ultrasound for Infants' Swallowing Disorders

LUNCH
Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim is to test the effectiveness of lung ultrasound (LUS) in the dynamic assessment of aspiration related to abnormal swallowing in infants and young children with neurological impairment (cerebral palsy/developmental disabilities). Neither standardized measure is available, nor protocols for invasive fibre-optic endoscopic examination of swallowing (FEES) and x-Ray videofluoroscopic swallowing study (VFSS) to be used in such population. LUS offers several advantages: time saving for aspiration diagnosis; safeness (neither invasiveness nor radiation); repeatability with different meal consistencies or to monitor interventions efficacy; cost-effectiveness; savings of x-Ray exposition (compared to VFSS). All these advantages may lead infants to improve clinical behavioural and neurological outcomes and reduce stressful interactions with caregivers, and to reduce morbidities and hospitalization costs for respiratory and non-respiratory complications related to swallowing disorders.

NCT ID: NCT04253470 Completed - Female Infertility Clinical Trials

Debate on Progesterone Elevation on the Day of Triggering

PE
Start date: January 1, 2012
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The association between serum progesterone (P) levels, measured on the day of ovulation trigger, and the outcome of in vitro fertilization cycles, has been one of the major controversies in the field of ovarian stimulation endocrinology. This is a single-center retrospective cohort study. Study duration period is from January 2012 to December 2016. All fresh embryo transfer (ET) both at cleavage stage and blastocyst stage, performed in Humanitas Fertility Center during the study period, were included.
