There are about 256 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Iraq. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P.L.P.), the biologically active form of vitamin B6, is a coenzyme in 150 enzymatic reactions, including amino acid, carbohydrate, and lipid metabolism. Neurotransmitter production and breakdown depend on it. Additionally, it functions as an antioxidant by suppressing reactive oxygen species and mitigating the development of advanced glycation end products. Humans recycle P.L.P. from dietary B6 vitamins, and this molecule has been related to various clinically relevant diseases. Pyridoxine as an additional therapy for type 2 diabetes will be examined in this study.
The goal of this clinical trial study is to investigate comparing Effects of Beetroot juice and Mediterranean diet on Liver Enzymes and Sonographic appearance in Patients with Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) The main question[s] it aims to answer are: 1. Beetroot juice has role in reduce Liver Enzymes 2. Mediterranean diet has role in reduce Liver Enzymes
Periodontitis is an inflammatory disease that destroys tooth-supporting structures through oral bacterial plaque. ozone gel's act as an antimicrobial effect as an adjunct to conventional periodontal therapy (scaling and root planning). exposure of bacteria to ozone leads to the oxidation of the phospholipids and lipoproteins that comprise the bacterial cell membrane. Ozone gel has the potential to play an anti-inflammatory role in the treatment of periodontitis by monitoring both clinical and biological parameters.
The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the effectiveness of four different methods (including the control group) in reducing pain during debonding of fixed orthodontic appliances in participants requiring the removal of their fixed orthodontic appliance. The main question it aims to answer is which method (biting on a cotton roll, biting on a soft thermoplastic elastomeric sheet, and the use of low-level vibration in reducing pain during the debonding procedure) is most effective in reducing the patients' pain during debonding of conventional orthodontic fixed appliances. Participants will be asked to give their pain score on a scale of 0 to 100 VAS (visual analogue scale) for every region of the dentition. the researcher then will compare different scores of different methods to find the most effective method in reducing pain.
The study was conducted among a group of dental patients aged (6-8 years old) of both genders to assess the following variables in the needleless interparliamentary anesthesia (NUMBEE) compared to traditional local anesthesia: 1. Pain perception. 2. Pain related behaviors. 3. Dental anxiety 4. Anesthetic efficiency. 5. Patient acceptance and preference
The study was performed on 160 participants, to ensure the impact of multi vitamin and mineral to reduce NAFLD
Alveolar ridge expansion is suggested for alveolar crest thicknesses of 3-5 mm. Osseodensification (OD) and screw expansion (SE) techniques have been utilized to expand narrow alveolar ridges (NAR). This study aims to compare the implant stability quotient (ISQ) values of endosteal dental implants (DIs) inserted into NAR via osseodensification versus manual screw expansion.
Bacterial plaque is the primary etiological factor for periodontal disease ranging from mild gingival inflammation to severe periodontitis. The fixed appliance can alter the microbial composition of the oral environment.Patients who wear fixed braces must perform optimum oral hygiene techniques .using a regular toothbrush alone for plaque removal is important but it is not adequate;therefore,an Adjunctive Plaque Control such as inter dental brush ,single tufted brush and water irrigator are helpful.the objective of this study To compare the efficacy of water irrigator ,single tufted and interdental brush in reducing gingival inflammation and plaque accumulation and To determine the profile of the salivary (MIF) at base line visit and after 4 weeks of the study .
To evaluate the effectiveness of resveratrol mouthwash as adjunct to NSP treatment of periodontitis
The goal of this clinical trial is to test efficiency of using toothpaste containing (Ginger) over a period of three month to control on gingival inflammation and plaque accumulation through measuring the clinical periodontal parameters (Gingival Index (GI), Bleeding on probing (BOP) and modified Quigley-Hein Plaque Index (mQHPI ) in comparison with Colgate total toothpastes in patients with biofilm induced gingivitis.
