There are about 5618 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in India. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study is a multicenter, open-label study of polatuzumab vedotin administered by intravenous (IV) infusion in combination with rituximab, gemcitabine and oxaliplatin (R-GemOx) in participants with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). The study comprises of two stages: a safety run-in stage and a randomized controlled trial (RCT).
The purpose of this extension study is to evaluate maintenance of HiSCR response in either continuous or interrupted therapy (using a randomized withdrawal period) of two dose regimens and to assess long-term efficacy, safety and tolerability of secukinumab in subjects with moderate to severe hidradenitis suppurativa completing either of the 2 Phase III studies. This is an expanded access trial for the core trials CAIN457M2301 (NCT03713619) and CAIN457M2302 (NCT03713619).
The MANDATE-AF study was designed to address evidence needs in India for device-based management of AF using AT/AF (Atrial Tachycardia/Atrial fibrillation) diagnostic features and therapies such as Reactive Atrial anti tachycardia Pacing (rATP) within Medtronic Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices (CIED)and its impact on the time to persistent AF and progression of AT/AF.
To assess and compare the demographic variables, periodontal parameters, cardiac parameters and the expression of periodontal viruses (CMV, HSV and EBV) and inflammatory biomarkers(PTX-3, TLR-2 & TLR-4) in periodontally healthy and generalized periodontitis patients with and without coronary artery disease(CAD).
The purpose of this study is to evaluate recurrence-free survival (RFS) in participants treated with erdafitinib vs Investigator's Choice, for participants with high-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) who harbor fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) mutations or fusions, and who recurred after bacillus calmette-guerin (BCG) therapy.
Primary Objectives: - Study is designed with two primary endpoints that will be analyzed on randomized participants at the time of the cut-off date for each given analysis (progression free survival [PFS] and overall survival [OS]) - Study success is defined either on PFS or OS - The primary objective is to determine whether tusamitamab ravtansine improves the progression free survival (PFS) when compared to docetaxel in participants with metastatic non-squamous non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) expressing CEACAM5 greater than or equal to 2+ in intensity in at least 50% of the tumor cell population and previously treated with standard-of-care platinum-based chemotherapy and an immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) - The primary objective is to determine whether tusamitamab ravtansine improves the overall survival (OS) when compared with docetaxel in participants with metastatic non-squamous NSCLC expressing CEACAM5 greater than or equal to 2+ in intensity in at least 50% of the tumor cell population and previously treated with standard-of-care platinum-based chemotherapy and an immune checkpoint inhibitor. Secondary Objectives: - To compare the objective response rate (ORR) of tusamitamab ravtansine with docetaxel - To compare the health-related quality of life (HRQOL) of tusamitamab ravtansine with docetaxel - To evaluate the safety of tusamitamab ravtansine compared to docetaxel - To assess the duration of response (DOR) of tusamitamab ravtansine as compared with docetaxel
"Hemodynamic Resuscitation and Monitoring in Early Sepsis (HERMES Study)" involves recording of patient's medical data related to that has been collected as part of his/her routine medical care in ICU. Presently there is no data from Indian ICUs on the way patients in early sepsis are resuscitated and monitored. There may exist a wide variation in clinical practice. The investigators would like to conduct an observational study in various levels of Indian ICUs, to prospectively collect data on adult patients admitted to ICU with early sepsis in a 60-day window period. Investigator would like to study the hemodynamic resuscitation and monitoring performed in these patients. In addition, Investigator would like to identify factors associated with improved outcomes and achieving the goals of the sepsis bundles in one, three and six hours. The objectives of the study is to capture the patient characteristics and hemodynamic resuscitation and monitoring practices in patients presenting with early sepsis and hypotension to Indian ICUs Investigator plan to recruit 50 -100 centers nationwide. Each center will be asked to collect data from at least 10 patients in a maximum time window of 60 days. A convenience sample of minimum 500 patients presenting to ICU with suspected sepsis and hypotension will be taken. Each Centre will guarantee the integrity of data collection and ensure timely completion of the case record forms. Each center will select a 60 day window period for patient recruitment. The start date may be anytime any time between 1st August to 15th October 2019. Therefore, the recruitment window period will end for a respective centre, anytime between 30th September and 14th December 2019, depending on the start date. All consecutive patients in the 60-day period will be screened and those eligible will be enrolled. This is an ISCCM(Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine) Research Committee funded study. The ISCCM will fund the Principal Investigator for all expenses related software development, website hosting, secretarial assistance and miscellaneous expenses related to the conduct of the study, data analysis and publication. No funding will be given to the investigators from the various participating centers for contributing data.
This is a multi-center, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, parallel group study designed to confirm the benefits of mepolizumab treatment on moderate or severe exacerbations in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) participants given as an add on to their optimized maintenance COPD therapy. The maximum duration of participant participation is approximately 109 weeks, consisting of 2 screening visits (up to 3 weeks), a run-in period (up to 2 weeks), and an intervention period of at least 52 weeks and up to 104 weeks. 800 participants will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive mepolizumab 100 milligrams (mg) or placebo every 4 weeks for at least 13 doses (52 weeks treatment period) up to a maximum of 26 doses (104 weeks treatment period). The number of randomized participants may increase up to approximately 1400.
The SyncAV Post-Market Trial is a prospective, randomized, multi-center trial performed to determine if cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) devices programmed with SyncAV ON improve long-term CRT response compared to devices programmed with conventional CRT through evaluation of changes in left ventricular (LV) reverse remodeling.
Steroids and Cross-linking for Ulcer Treatment (SCUT II) is an international, randomized, double-masked, clinical trial. The purpose of this study is to determine differences in 6-month visual acuity between medical antimicrobial treatments alone versus antimicrobial treatment plus collagen cross-linking (CXL), as well as to further evaluate findings from subgroup analyses of SCUT. Patients presenting to the Aravind Eye Care System (India), Kaiser Permanente Northern California (USA), or the University of California, San Francisco (USA) with smear-positive and/or culture-positive typical (i.e. non-Nocardia or Mycobacteria) bacterial corneal ulcers and moderate to severe vision loss, defined as Snellen visual acuity of 20/40 or worse, will be eligible for inclusion. Those who agree to participate will be randomized to one of three treatment groups: Group 1: Standard therapy, topical 0.5% moxifloxacin plus topical placebo plus sham CXL Group 2: Early steroids, topical 0.5% moxifloxacin plus topical difluprednate 0.05% plus sham CXL Group 3: CXL plus early steroids, topical 0.5% moxifloxacin plus topical difluprednate 0.05% plus CXL
