There are about 9745 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Israel. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This is a prospective, multi-center, open label, non-randomized study, evaluating the treating of medial meniscus deficiency with the NUsurface Meniscus Implant.
The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness of peripheral nerve stimulation utilizing a subcutaneous lead implant technique (SQS) plus optimized medical management (OMM) versus OMM alone in patients suffering from back pain due to Failed Back Surgery Syndrome (FBSS).
Double-blind study, randomized, controlled, and crossover. Study recruited 30 volunteers with stable asthma aged 8-18 years. Participants will perform lung function as part of the routine follow-up then will receive a Foradil 12mcg either with an Aerolizer (a standard dry powder inhaler) or with the Inspiromatic (an active, breath synchronized innovative inhaler). 3-60 days later participants will receive the same drug through the other inhaler. Pre and post treatment (15 min, 30 min, 60 min) Lung function results, drug levels in the blood, vital signs and side effects will be recorded.
Nocturnal leg cramps (NLC) are painful, involuntary contractions of muscles occurring at rest, mostly at night. A Cochrane review on leg cramps in pregnancy showed some potential benefits in trials of magnesium. This is a single center, prospective, randomized, double blind, placebo controlled clinical trial that aims to investigate the effect of treatment with Magnox 520® (un-organic granular magnesium complex, composed of Magnesium Oxide & Magnesium Oxide Monohydrate 865mg, Provides 520 mg of free elemental Mg++) on frequency and severity of NLC, quality of sleep and quality of life. Hypothesis: Magnox 520® may reduce the number and severity of NLC; an improvement in the quality of life and quality of sleep may ensue.
Glaucoma is one of the leading causes of blindness in the west. The disease caused by high intra ocular pressure (IOP) and characterized by damage to the optic nerve and gradual loss of visual field. Intra ocular pressure change during the day. To evaluate the efficiency of the therapy it is common to measure the intra ocular pressure at different times of the day. Most ophthalmologists admit the patient for one day at which intra ocular pressure is measured at different times. This method does not mimic the patient daily routine and may not reflect the true diurnal fluctuations. For this reason some ophthalmologists measure the intra ocular pressure at different times and at different days. It is not known if both methods give similar diurnal curves.
Primary Objective: To demonstrate that sarilumab added to disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs) is effective for: - reduction of signs and symptoms at Week 24 and - improvement of physical function at Week 12 in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who are inadequate responders or intolerant to tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) antagonists. Secondary Objectives: The secondary objectives are to investigate the effects of SAR153191 (REGN88) when added to DMARD therapy, in patients with active RA who are inadequate responders or intolerant to TNF-α antagonists, for: - Reduction of signs and symptoms at 12 weeks. - Improvement in physical function at Week 24. - Improvement in disease activity score as measured by other American College of Rheumatology derived components at Weeks 12 and 24. - Improvement in quality of life as measured by patient reported outcomes (PROs) at intermediate visits and Week 24. To assess the safety of sarilumab in this population. To assess the exposure of sarilumab added to DMARD therapy in this population.
This is a randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, active-controlled, parallel-group, multi-national, multi-center study to compare alirocumab (REGN727/SAR236553) versus ezetimibe in participants with primary hypercholesterolemia and moderate, high, or very high CV risk, who are intolerant to statins. An atorvastatin arm is added to determine that the population selected in the study is a truly statin intolerant population by assessing skeletal muscle-related adverse events.
the purpose of the study is to extend the use of Rasagelin Mesylate 1mg per day by subjects who participated in the Adagio TVP 1012/501 according to form 4a for additional three years.
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and performance of the BioWeld1 System procedure for surgical incision closure of the skin in women scheduled for elective C-section procedure.
This is a multinational, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, parallel-group, placebo-controlled study followed by active treatment, to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of two doses of oral administration of laquinimod in participants with RRMS. The study has 2 periods: Period 1, the double-blind, placebo-controlled period (up to 24 months) and Period 2, the active treatment period (24 months).
