Validation of a Software and the Follow-up of Anteropoterior Migration of Stent

The treatment of aortic aneurysms is today based on different indicators (diameters, lengths, angles, volumes of the arteries) measured on CT scan images. Several indicators are time consuming and complicatated to measure. They demand training and practice. Nurea is developing a software for automatic measurement of these indicators, PRAEVAorta® 2, to facilitate and assist the physician in his clinical routine. The purpose of this study is to compare the analysis realised by the software PRAEVAorta® 2 with the analysis realised by the healthcare professional on retrospective CT scan images. Contrasted and non-contrasted, pre-operation or post-operation CT scans from 50 patients will be analysed. The main objectif is to validate the accuracy of the software by demonstrating its adequacy to the standard method of analysis. The second objectives are the following: - Evaluate the security of the software PRAEVAorta® 2 - Evaluate the unanticipated risks related to the use of the software - Validate the accessory PRAEVAorta® Web We make the following assumption : 90% of the patients show 90% of adequacy to the healthcare professional analysis

Interest of the S100B Protein Assay in Mild Traumatic Brain Injuries at the DOUAI Hospital

The main objective is to evaluate the feasibility and interest of setting up a protocol for the systematic measurement of the S100B protein in patients with mild traumatic brain injury admitted to the emergency room of Douai hospital in order to reduce the number of unnecessary brain scans. The main evaluation criterion is the percentage of patients admitted to the emergency department of Douai hospital for mild traumatic brain injury, whose protocol for the systematic measurement of the S100B protein would make it possible to avoid the realization of a brain scans for patients with a protein assay S100B ≤ 0.10 µg/L, carried out within 3h of the onset of MCT. The systematic dosage of the S100B protein in the context of mild traumatic brain injury still does not appear in the recommendations for good practice in 2021. This study will contribute to the reflection on the use of the S100B protein in the development of new recommendations for good practice of mild traumatic brain injury support.

EEG Recordings and Analysis in Parkinson's Patients: Towards Adaptive Deep Brain Stimulation by Machine Learning

The objective of this protocol is to obtain on Parkinson's disease more accessible therapeutic targets than deep brain stimulation (HFS-STN), the neurosurgical treatment for this pathology. This study will pave the way for new forms of adaptive processing for the HFS-STN. It could become functionally coupled to a minimalist EEG centred on the motor cortex and to software for decoding, live or slightly delayed, classes of movements performed. On the one hand, this device could be used as a sensor of the quality of the information transmitted by the cortical network, thus allowing the selection of the optimal parameters of the HFS-STN on the basis of the movement decoding score. On the other hand, this device could lead to adapting the HFS-STN treatment over time by regularly calculating the recognition scores of the different movements performed and comparing them to the initial scores.

Comparison of 3 Techniques for Blood Pressure Measurements During Interventional Neuroradiology Procedures

Some observational studies demonstrated that hypotension was associated with post-operative morbidity. During neuroradiological procedures, cerebral perfusion pressure should be cautiously maintained and hypertension should also be avoided. So, a precise arterial pressure measurement is needed during this procedures. A continuous monitoring of arterial pressure needed the placement of an arterial catheter in radial artery. The placement of this catheter might be long, difficult and incompatible with emergency neuroradiological procedure (such as thrombectomy). Then, this invasive technique is associated with several minor and major side effects such as: pain, infection, thrombosis, hematoma. The Clearsight®, commercialized by Edwards Life Science Company®, is a non invasive device which mesure continuously arterial pressure with Volume-Clamp method. In operating room, some studies found a good accuracy between Clearsight® and other invasive monitoring system. There is no description of the use of Clearsight® during neuroradiological procedures. The investigators hypothesized that Clearsight® measurement of arterial pressure are concordant with arterial pressure measure with the placement of an arterial catheter. The investigators also plan to evaluate accuracy of intermittent non invasive pressure measurement with traditional cuff.

While closed-loop insulin delivery (CLID) systems demonstrated safety and effectiveness in patients with unbalanced type 1 diabetes (T1D), no studies have included patients with highly and chronically unbalanced diabetes. The investigators conduct a retrospective, observational, and single-center study to evaluate the acceptability, safety, and efficacy of a CLID system in patients living with T1D (≥2 years) with a HbA1c>11% in the past 12 months and a mean HbA1c >10% over the past three years. Efficacy was assessed using continuous glucose monitoring parameters.

The echOpen device includes an ultra-portable ultrasound probe and a mobile application that allows the image to be displayed on a smartphone via a WIFI protocol. The objective of the clinical investigation is to show that the echOpen device, using three frequencies 3.5 Mhz, 5.0 Mhz and 7.5 Mhz, allows identifying the semiological signs or anatomical structures of interest located at several depths of the body, with a performance similar to other devices routinely used in clinical departments.
