NCT ID: NCT04900467 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Adult Who Received a First Dose of an mRNA Vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) and Need to Receive a Second Dose

Compare Immunological Efficacy of a Vaccine Regimen Combining Two Covid19 mRNA Vaccines (Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna) With That of a Homologous Vaccination of Each Covid19 mRNA Vaccine

ARNCOMBI
Start date: May 28, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

As part of the COVID 19 vaccine campaign, the two mRNA vaccines, BNT162b2 (COMIRNATY®) and mRNA-1273 COVID-19 vaccine Moderna, are administered in two doses in subjects without a history of SARS-CoV-2 infection . In accordance with the marketing authorization for vaccines, HAS recommends that subjects who have received one dose of an mRNA vaccine receive a second dose of the same vaccine with an interval between the 2 doses of 4 to 6 weeks. These two vaccines are based on very similar technologies but were developed independently. Given the similarities between these two vaccines, the choice between the two, for the moment, is based solely on the availability of doses and on logistical constraints. Since April 14, the interval between the two doses of the mRNA vaccines is 42 days. WHO has announced that in the absence of available data, vaccine interchangeability cannot be recommended. However, to facilitate the organization of the vaccination campaign and allow faster vaccination of the population, it would be desirable to be able to use either one or the other mRNA vaccine for the 2nd dose. In order to be able to recommend the interchangeability of the 2 mRNA vaccines, it is proposed to evaluate the immunogenicity of a scheme combining the two Covid 19 mRNA vaccines (i.e. a 2nd dose of vaccine with the Moderna vaccine after a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine or 2nd dose of Pfizer vaccine after a first dose of Moderna vaccine) compared to that of a standard vaccination schedule with two doses of the same Covid 19 mRNA vaccine.

NCT ID: NCT04899492 Active, not recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Evaluation of Different Smoking Cessation Protocols: Nicotine Replacement, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or Hypnotherapy in Cancer Patients Scheduled for Surgery

RESPIRE
Start date: September 29, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This trial offers support and assistance to patients wishing to quit smoking in order to increase the success rate of smoking cessation and all the benefits associated with it. Patients will be monitored by a tobacco specialist and will be able to benefit from one or more therapies complementary to Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT): Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or Hypnotherapy.

PKU explore France is an exploratory study to evaluate the acceptability of PKU explore, a food for special medical purposes, for use in the dietary management of phenylketonuria in infants from 6 months to 3 years of age, assessing participant adherence, GI tolerance, phe levels, growth and product palatability.

NCT ID: NCT04896008 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

A Study of Sotatercept in Participants With PAH WHO FC III or FC IV at High Risk of Mortality (MK-7962-006/ZENITH)

ZENITH
Start date: December 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of sotatercept (MK-7962, formerly called ACE-011) treatment (plus maximum tolerated background pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) therapy) versus placebo (plus maximum tolerated background PAH therapy) on time to first event of all cause death, lung transplantation, or PAH worsening-related hospitalization of ≥24 hours, in participants with World Health Organization (WHO) functional class (FC) III or FC IV PAH at high risk of mortality.

NCT ID: NCT04895748 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Carcinoma, Renal Cell

DFF332 as a Single Agent and in Combination With Everolimus & Immuno-Oncology Agents in Advanced/Relapsed Renal Cancer & Other Malignancies

Start date: November 30, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is first in human study of DFF332, a small molecule that targets a protein called HIF2α. By acting on HIF2α, DFF332 may be able to stop the growth of certain types of cancer. DFF332 will be tested at different doses as single agent and in combination with Everolimus (RAD001, an mTOR inhibitor), and also in combination with Spartalizumab (PDR001, an anti-PD1) plus Taminadenant (NIR178, an adenosine A2A receptor antagonist), in patients with advanced clear cell renal cell carcinoma and other malignancies with HIF stabilizing mutations.

NCT ID: NCT04895358 Active, not recruiting - Breast Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Study of Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) Plus Chemotherapy Versus Placebo Plus Chemotherapy for HR+/HER2- Locally Recurrent Inoperable or Metastatic Breast Cancer (MK-3475-B49/KEYNOTE-B49)

Start date: June 18, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The safety and efficacy of pembrolizumab plus the investigator's choice of chemotherapy will be assessed compared to placebo plus the investigator's choice of chemotherapy in the treatment of chemotherapy-candidate hormone receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HR+/HER2-) locally recurrent inoperable or metastatic breast cancer. The primary hypotheses are that the combination of pembrolizumab and chemotherapy is superior to placebo and chemotherapy in regards to Progression-Free Survival (PFS) or overall survival (OS) in participants with programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) combined positive score (CPS) ≥1 and ≥10.

NCT ID: NCT04887441 Active, not recruiting - Food Allergy Clinical Trials

Allergology: Information, Data and Knowledge Organization

ALLERGIDOC
Start date: September 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Digital technology is essential in the field of health, via connected objects, the medical Internet or even telemedicine; and the info-communication practices (ways of getting information and communicating) of the actors go through digital devices. In addition, at present, the mass of activity documents to be managed in healthcare establishments and an abundant supply of documentary resources in health, available on the Internet, lead to infobesity, information pollution, and work overload. These phenomena lead to an increase in the time spent searching for relevant information and even to the burnout of healthcare professionals. A contextualization of the information communication systems through which the practices of health professionals pass therefore seems necessary so that the tools for managing, extracting and organizing knowledge can support these actors in their work. In the field of allergies, there are many players, and the information that is useful to them is abundant and heterogeneous. This study is based on the hypothesis that a knowledge organization model, developed from existing practices, could make it possible to obtain satisfactory results when searching for information, and be integrated into the daily practices of actors by linking up with other already existing systems and tools.
