NCT ID: NCT01571466 Completed - HIV Infection Clinical Trials

A Study to Evaluate the Safety of the HIV-1 Vaccine MVA-B in Chronic HIV-1 Infected Patients Successfully Treated With HAART

2009-016578-34
Start date: September 2011
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

30 treated chronic HIV-1 infected patients with CD4+ cell counts above 450 cells/ mm3 will be randomized 1:2 to receive placebo (n=10) or vaccine (n=20) at week 0, 4 and 16 and will be observed at the Investigation Unit of the study site for one hour following vaccination. At week 24 they will stop their HAART until the end of the study.

NCT ID: NCT01571284 Completed - Clinical trials for Colorectal Cancer Metastatic

Start date: May 30, 2012
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Primary Objective: To provide metastatic colorectal cancer participants with access to aflibercept and to document the overall safety in these participants Secondary Objective: To document the Health-Related Quality of Life of aflibercept in this participants population

NCT ID: NCT01571076 Completed - Infertility Clinical Trials

Preimplantation Genetic Screening (PGS) in Advanced Female Age and Male Severe Factor

Start date: February 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Preimplantation Genetic Screening (PGS) is used for the selection of chromosomally normal embryos before the transfer in IVF treatments in many cases. There is great debate in the scientific community as to whether this is an efficient practice in patients of different prognosis. This prospective and randomized study seeks to study the results of chromosomal diagnosis using the new Comparative Genomic hybridization (CGH) arrays technique by practicing Preimplantation Genetic Screening (PGS) in day three biopsy on one arm of the study and not on the other arm in order to compare the results. The investigators will study the ongoing pregnancy rate of each oocyte retrieval and the ongoing implantation rate with Day 5 embryos (blastocysts) in IVF/ intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) treatments of embryos from two different groups of patients: Advanced Age Female Patients (38 - 41 years of age) and Male severe factor (≥2 million spermatozoids/ml.).

NCT ID: NCT01570686 Completed - Hypertension Clinical Trials

8-week Randomized, Open-label Study to Evaluate Food Effect on Efficacy and Safety of Oral Aliskiren 300 mg in Patients With Hypertension

Start date: April 2012
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of food on aliskiren's efficacy, pharmacokinetics and safety following an oral dose of 300 mg, given once daily under light meal versus fasted conditions.

NCT ID: NCT01570504 Completed - Strongyloidiasis Clinical Trials

Multiple Versus Single Dose of Ivermectin for the Treatment of Strongyloidiasis

STRONGTREAT
Start date: March 2013
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Ivermectin is currently the best drug to cure strongyloidiasis, but the "standard" single dose of 200 mcg/kg is probably not enough to guarantee cure. As strongyloidiasis can be fatal in immunosuppressed patients, it is mandatory to define the optimal dosage to eradicate the parasite. Aim of this study is to define the most effective dose schedule of ivermectin to cure strongyloidiasis.

NCT ID: NCT01569295 Completed - Clinical trials for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

Study Evaluating the Efficacy and Safety of Idelalisib in Combination With Bendamustine and Rituximab for Previously Treated Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) (Tugela )

Tugela
Start date: June 15, 2012
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of the addition of idelalisib (formerly GS-1101) to bendamustine + rituximab (BR) on progression-free survival (PFS) in participants with previously treated chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)

NCT ID: NCT01569178 Completed - Clinical trials for Myocardial Infarction

BAMI. The Effect of Intracoronary Reinfusion of Bone Marrow-derived Mononuclear Cells(BM-MNC) on All Cause Mortality in Acute Myocardial Infarction

BAMI
Start date: September 2013
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a multinational, multicentre, randomised open-label, controlled, parallel-group phase III study. Its aim is to demonstrate that a single intracoronary infusion of autologous bone marrow-derived mononuclear cells is safe and reduces all-cause mortality in patients with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction(</=45%) after successful reperfusion for acute myocardial infarction when compared to a control group of patients undergoing best medical care.

NCT ID: NCT01568866 Completed - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

Phase 3 Study With Carfilzomib and Dexamethasone Versus Bortezomib and Dexamethasone for Relapsed Multiple Myeloma Patients

ENDEAVOR
Start date: June 20, 2012
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study was to compare progression-free survival in patients with multiple myeloma who relapsed after 1 to 3 prior therapies treated with carfilzomib plus dexamethasone or bortezomib plus dexamethasone.

NCT ID: NCT01568190 Completed - Clinical trials for Allergic Rhinitis Due to Dust Mite

An Open Trial to Assess the Tolerability of AVANZ Mite Mix Immunotherapy
