For many years' physiotherapists have been using ultrasound in treatment of knee osteoarthritis especially in geriatrics (people aged above 65 years) for its known therapeutic effect in relieving pain and improving knee function. Hyaluronan is used to treat osteoarthritis of the knee. Such treatments, called viscosupplementation, are administered as a course of injections into the knee joint, and are believed to supplement the viscosity of the joint fluid, thereby lubricating the joint, cushioning the joint, and producing an analgesic effect. Studies reveals the risk for falls increases with additional symptomatic OA lower limb joints and confirms in addition to gender factor; including female sex.

Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) is a minimally invasive procedure to remove stones from the kidney by a small puncture wound through the skin. Patients receiving lidocaine infusion had lower pain scores, reduced postoperative analgesic requirements and decreased intraoperative anesthetic requirements. Erector spinae plane block (ESPB) seems to be effective when compared with no block or a placebo block.

Effect of Pyramidal Training on Selected Risk Factors of Atherosclerosis

The study will be conducted on fifty women with central obesity. Their ages will be from 30-40 years old. They will be selected from Al Hayat specialized Hospital in Cairo, Egypt and The participants will be randomly assigned into two equal groups: Group (A): study group, 25 participants will receive pyramidal training by treadmill for 40 minutes per session three sessions per week for eight weeks in addition to the diet health advices. Group (B): Control group, 25 participants will receive diet health advices. The subjects will be selected from El Haya specialized Hospital, Cairo.
