There are about 11304 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Denmark. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to provide anti-HCV drugs to +/- 200 subjects treated in prior BMS studies with placebo + Peginterferon Alfa-2a and Ribavirin and determine if the addition of these drugs can result in higher cure rates in patients who previously failed therapy. Approximately 100 genotype 1b subjects rolling over from BMS study AI447-028 who received placebo will be treated with active drugs in this study.
This trial investigates the effects of several doses of FE 999049 in women undergoing IVF/ICSI (in-vitro fertilisation/intracytoplasmic sperm injection) treatment.
There is a lack of scientific evidence that homeopathy and reflexology is effective treatment of asthma. Systematic reviews have found that many clinical trials testing homeopathy and reflexology have major flaws, such as small number of participants, lack of control groups or inadequate allocation concealment. The aim of the present study was to assess the effect of reflexology and individualised homeopathy as an adjuvant treatment in asthma. In order to address this issue, the investigators conducted an investigator-blinded, randomized, controlled parallel group study.
The objective of this non-interventional study is to confirm that with standard OsvaRen® treatment it is possible to achieve in at least 60% of the patients the levels of phosphorus, total calcium, and iPTH seen in the CALMAG study also in the normal clinical practice.
The objective of this study is to investigate how mobility and pain scores, measured on a Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), correspond to patients' EuroQol-5Dimensions-3Levels (EQ-5D-3L) answers on pain and mobility. In addition, the investigators want to evaluate patients' undergoing Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) quality of life postoperatively, depending on the vein harvesting method used.
This trial will evaluate use of BI 10773/linagliptin once daily (qd) fixed dose combination (FDC) in treatment naïve and metformin treated patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus to support approval by regulatory authorities.
This study is a phase I study of a cell based prostate cancer therapy, Autologous Lymphoid Effector Cells Specific Against Tumor-cells (ALECSAT). Safety and tolerability of a single dose has been shown in 13 prostate cancer patients. In this study 20 prostate cancer patients will receive 3 doses of the ALECSAT treatment. In this therapy specific cells from the patient's own immune system are isolated, activated and re-administered to the patient to boost a specific immune response against the cancer cells. The aim of the study is to show safety and tolerability for repeated dosing of this type of therapy. It is the hypothesis that the cells administered during the therapy will attack the tumor cells and in this way stop or slow down the progression of disease.
The investigators want to examine if specific acetabular liner designs can be a contributing factor to audible squeaking associated with CoC bearings. The aim of the present study is to compare two different designed and well documented acetabular component systems with reference to squeaking and other noises from the hip.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of Transversus Abdominis Plane (TAP) block as a part of a multimodal postoperative pain management after laparoscopic surgery on colon.
This is a prospective, open label 1 arm study, multicentre, Phase I/II clinical safety study. The trial is designed to gain initial safety and efficacy data on pelvic lymph node radiation with simultaneous integrated boost to prostate in high risk prostate cancer patients.
