This study aims to investigate whether high-morning carbohydrate intake (HMK) compared with low-morning carbohydrate intake (LMK) affects glycemic variability in GDM patients based on Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). High carbohydrate morning intake is expected to reduce hyperglycemic episodes and stabilize blood glucose compared with low morning carbohydrate intake.
Transnasal Humidified Rapid-Insufflation Ventilatory Exchange (THRIVE) denotes the use of high-flow humidified nasal oxygen system (for example Optiflow®) as an alternative ventilation modality for an anesthetized patient without spontaneous respiration. This method requires only basic airway management manoeuvres to keep the airway open and provides both stable longterm oxygenation as well as apneic ventialtion. We plan to evaluate this methods physiological performance under standardized conditions of airway management by frequent, repeated arterial blood gas analyses.
Study to assess the prevalence of significant liver fibrosis in general population using Transient Elastography
This study will collect information on side effects and how well Refixia/REBINYN works during long-term treatment (prophylaxis) in males with haemophilia B. While taking part in this study, participants will receive the same treatment as given to them by their study doctor. All visits at the clinic are done in the same way as the participants are used to. During visits at the clinic, participants might be asked for some relevant tests if considered useful by their study doctor. During the visits, the participants study doctor might ask if the participants had any side effects since their last study visit. The participants will be asked to note down the number of bleeds and the treatment of their bleeds as well as their regular prophylaxis. During the visits to the clinic, the participants will be asked to answer some questionnaires about their quality of life and their ability to be physically active. The participant's participation in the study will last for 4-9 years, depending on when they join the study. Participants are free to leave the study at any time and for any reason. This will not affect their current and future medical care.
Exercise training combined with other lifestyle changes are essential elements in conservative management of patients with Intermittent Claudication (IC). IC is essentially caused by atherosclerosis, which reduces blood flow to the legs and leads to cramping leg pain when walking. Patients suffering from IC may have difficulty in exercising and changing lifestyle without systematic intervention despite the risk of morbidity, mortality and hospitalization. Today, rehabilitation programs, including supervised exercise, exist for patients suffering ischemic heart disease but not for patients with IC, despite evidence that exercise therapy is highly beneficial for patients suffering IC. The overall aim of the present study is to examine the effect of conservative management of patients with IC provided as a three month, cross-sectoral exercise and lifestyle intervention program based on the already established cardiac rehabilitation program. Outcome will be assessed on walking distance and secondly on lifestyle changes and patient reported outcomes. Implications: The project will provide evidence for the effect of cross-sectoral collaborative conservative management of patients with IC, using the existing rehabilitation program already offered to patients suffering ischemic heart disease. Moreover, it will elicit knowledge on patient perceptions of conservative management of IC provided as a proactive cross-sectoral intervention and ways to support patients with IC in adhering to conservative management.

The purpose of this study is to test the utility of PET/MRI in diagnosis and management of Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in children and adolescents, hereby - To test if PET/MRI scan is an accurate method to diagnose and differentiate Crohn's disease and Ulcerous Colitis in children and adolescents suspected of IBD. - To evaluate whether PET/MRI scan in children and adolescents with Crohn's disease is an accurate method to diagnose relapses and to monitor the effect of biological treatment with monoclonal antibodies directed towards Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha.
The objective of the study is to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of a sub-retinal injection of BIIB111 in participants with Choroideremia (CHM) who have been previously treated with BIIB111 and who have exited an antecedent study; these treated participants will be compared with untreated control participants who have exited the STAR (NCT03496012) study and BIIB112 in participants with X-linked retinitis pigmentosa (XLRP) who have been previously treated with BIIB112 and who have exited an antecedent study.
