There are about 36818 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in China. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Objective: To improve the success rate of the treatment of migrating foreign bodies in the upper aerodigestive tract. Methods: The medical records of inpatients conforming to the diagnosis of migrating foreign bodies between 2020 and 2025 were reviewed. Data regarding age, gender, time from onset to hospitalization, computed tomography (CT) and endoscopic scans, surgical procedures, and follow-up were collected.
Superb Micro-vascular Imaging (SMI) based on the iBeam platform is used to evaluate the blood supply of solid tumors. Compared with color Doppler technology, the sensitivity, accuracy and consistency of the ability of SMI to display blood flow are evaluated. Thus, the investigators will use Superb-Microvascular imaging (SMI, Toshiba, Japan) for diagnosing hepatic lesions, which enable to detect slow micro vascular flow inside the tumor
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of GPED (gemcitabine, pegaspargase, etoposide, and dexamethasone) regimen in the treatment of Relapsed/Refractory or advanced NK/T-cell lymphoma patients
The burden of non-disabling ischemic cerebrovascular events (NICE) is significantly increased. However, few previous studies have focused on affective impairment after transient ischemic attack (TIA) and minor stroke. Stroke survivors are often described as apathetic. Even though post-stroke apathy (PSA) affects one in three stroke patients,it has not hitherto received much attention. NICE-A is a prospective study aimed to explore the association between baseline apathy and probable incident stroke in a population-based sample of TIA and minor stroke adults.
In 2019, around 27 million people worldwide, corresponding to 0.5% of the adult population, have used amphetamine-type stimulants (ATS). More than one-third of these 27 million users of ATS were in East and South-East Asia. ATS are a group of synthetic psychostimulants including methamphetamine, amphetamine, 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA, ecstasy) and related substances. Although the biology underlying amphetamine withdrawal syndrome is not fully understood, amphetamine has been shown to produce long-lasting reductions in neuronal expression of dopamine neuronal markers. Abuse of these synthetic psychostimulants can lead to drug addiction, and subsequent withdrawal can cause a series of mental symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, confusion, insomnia, mood disturbances, cognitive impairments, and delusions. Some studies have shown two clear stages of ATS withdrawal syndrome: an acute phase lasting 7-10 days, and a subacute phase lasting a further 2 weeks or more, which is termed called "Protracted amphetamine abstinence syndrome (PAAS)". The relevant literature has indicated that the majority of patients with ATS withdrawal disorders can experience depression, cognitive impairments, insomnia, and anxiety, especially during the PAAS stage. These symptoms may affect the treatment and finally lead to a relapse. Nowadays, pharmacological therapies are mostly symptom-targeted and show an ungratified effectiveness for amphetamine-type drugs. There is no a medication approved by Food and Drug Administration for use in the treatment of methamphetamine addiction. Therefore, the treatment of PAAS is essential for the treatment of ATS use disorders. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), especially acupuncture, is effective in the treatment of withdrawal symptoms with few side effects. research on acupuncture detoxification originates from the treatment of opioid drug withdrawal. Studies have shown that acupuncture has high efficacy in the treatment of protracted abstinence symptoms after heroin addiction. This study hypothesizes that acupuncture has the same mechanism of action in the treatment of PAAS as in the treatment of protracted opioid abstinence syndrome. Therefore, investigators have designed a real-world-based pragmatic randomized controlled trial (pRCT) to determine the effectiveness of acupuncture in the treatment of PAAS and provide support for clinical decision-making. Investigators conduct a pragmatic randomized controlled trials(pRCT) to observe the effect of acupuncture in a larger sample. It combines the advantages of randomization and real-world data, and the results can provide the best real-world evidence for the assessment of intervention effects or comparative effects.
This study is to examine whether group-based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in the patient-caregiver dyads with Chronic Heart Failure is effective in improving dyadic health-related quality of life, dyadic psychological symptoms, caregiver burden, the rate of patient's readmission, and patient's self-care behavior in comparison with those dyads receiving health education over three-month post intervention.
Encephaloduroarteriosynangiosis (EDAS) is widely used as an indirect technique for treatment of moyamoya disease. Nevertheless, this indirect surgery tends to establish insufficient collateral circulation in most adult MMD patients. Nowadays, there is a lack of adjuvant therapies for improving collateral circulation induced by indirect revascularization. This study aims to explore whether remote ischemic conditioning can improve the collateral circulation after indirect revascularization.
This study is an observational study. Collect cotton swabs of the surface skin are obtained from the non-diabetic and diabetic patients hospitalized in the Nanfang Hospital of Southern Medical University. The investigators use omics technology to identify the structure and functions of cutaneous microbiome, analyze the characteristics of the skin flora of diabetic patients, and find the difference in skin microbiota among diabetic patients with different risk levels for developing into diabetic foot. Then, the participants will be followed up to compare the incidence of ulcers among different groups. And the skin tissues discarded during surgical operations of non-diabetic and diabetes patients are collected for pathological examination. Finally, based on the results of 16S high-throughput sequencing, metagenomics, etc., specific flora could be extracted from human skin flora cotton swabs, and animal experiments are performed to explore the effect of skin micro-ecology on diabetic skin lesions. The investigators will explore in animal experiments to regulate the influence of skin micro-ecology on diabetic skin lesions through treatment methods such as different hypoglycemic drugs and probiotic emulsions.
Dexmedetomidine can attenuate the activity of the sympathetic nervous system under stress response and improve ischemia-reperfusion injury. The investigators hypothesized that the prolonged sedation of dexmedetomidine after successful reperfusion of endovascular thrombectomy may improve the clinical outcome of acute ischemic stroke patients.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate safety, tolerability and efficacy of IBI323(anti-LAG-3/PD-L1) or in combination with chemotherapy in participants with advanced malignancies. Another purpose is to determine the pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and immunogenicity of IBI323
